I know a lot of u don't want to play the colts but the fact is the colts are not near as good as last season so I think we can beat them. Plus either ravens or steelers would get the 6th seed and there is a good chance either one of them could make it to afccg and if the 6 seed makes it that gives jets a home game and I would love to see that.
And that is why I like to put a lot of words together in one serntence OMG isn't that cool do you see what I'm doing here its awesome
There is not a chance in hell that the Steelers lose to the Browns to give up the division. On top of that there is no chance in hell that the Browns beat the Steelers to knock them out of the 2 seed.
I wouldn't be shocked if it happened. Depends on if Polamalu plays ... I think we have to try to get the 5th seed. You DO NOT want to be the team facing NE after they've had a week off.
I would never say never, MBP. However, the main reason why I think it's debatable whether or not we should get the 5 seed is that...as the 6 seed, we WILL be playing the Patriots in the 2nd round if we get past the Chiefs. If we can get the 5 seed, there's an outside chance we could play the Ravens, which is a much better matchup for us.
The only reason I would want the Jets to get the 5th seed is so we wont have to play the Pats till the AFCG. Other than that, the JETS dont need to risk getting injuries because it isnt a guaranteed they get the 5th spot with a win.
Presumably if the Browns players want to keep Mangini as their coach, they realize that this game could be huge for his future.
What? If the Jets get the 5 seed and win and the 3 seed beats the 6 seed, then the Jets would play the Patriots in the divisional round.
And there practice squad receivers, yes, if it means possibly avoiding the Pats after a week off. There's a good chance the 5 & 6 seed advance.
Well said. Anyone is a better match-up for any team than NE right now. And Steelers, if they get #6 seed have a pretty good chance of upsetting KC, thus saving us from playing NE in the second round. If we get 6th seed, we are pretty much toast after the wild card round.
I think if they lay down against the Steelers, that will reveal a lot about whether they want Mangini back.
My point is why even think about the divisional round yet. The Jets might have to play NE either way.
MIGHT vs MUST is a big difference. Regardless of the situation, we have to win first round. And with 5th seed we have a pretty good chance of avoiding Pats in the second. Without the 5th seed, that chance is 0. See the difference?
No, they don't have a pretty good chance. There is a pretty darn good chance the 3 seed will beat the 6 seed.
