100% agree....we need to maintain the rhythme of playing on each weekend...especially the offense which has moved the ball better the past 2 weeks against good defenses

does anyone know if we play Sat or Sun on the wildcard weekend?

won't know until next week for sure but if things stay as is Vick and manning will likely get the big rating time slots of Saturday night and Sunday 4:15. My guess is we get the 4:00 start saturday because they will want Vick on sat night in primetime and will do one NFC one afc matchup each day.

This was the point I was gong to make.

It took us 14 weeks to FINALLY implement a real short passing game....

We still did not do much with it against Pittsburgh, and then lit up Chicago.

We need another week of calling/executing these plays before the playoffs.

No way in hell are the Steelers going to lose to Cleveland to lose their division hold.

Sanchez is playing the first half so we should have this game locked up by that point anyway.

Personally I want to be the team that faces NE first, just so we can get them out of the way.

No way do I want to play NE, on the road, with them coming off the bye. I know it's unlikely, but I'd like somebody to get the chance to beat them, and/or wear them down some before playing them.

After that Monday night every player interviewed said the exact same thing. Oh yes, the we will get revenge. This time we will play for 60 minutes.

We are still 1 on of only two teams to beat them, don't be scared be thirsty.

Jets should be careful about treating this week as a bye for the starters cause the one thing the Ryan Jets have shown thus far is that they do not respond well after long weeks.

at first they said they were going to rest Sanchez, now Rex is saying it isn't 100% yet. He said he doesn't want him to dip from a layoff. So maybe he will start then if they have a good lead, Brunell will come in.

Last I read was that Sanchez would play a half. I think it was Manish, not sure though.

They also happen to have played good teams with elite quarterbacks after their long weeks ie Brady, Rodgers. I think it's more about who they played than the long weeks they had.

If the 5 seed is there, you have to take it. We might be going to Jacksonville, who can still be a 4 seed. Play the starters for the half and if the Steelers are losing or it's close, keep playing them. If not, pull them. The tricky thing with these things is that the active roster is only 45. You run out of bodies pretty quick.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I still can't believe how far Wilson has fallen on the depth chart. I'd be cool with him playing and taking some lumps just to get the playing time in.

Love to see McKnight get 10-12 carries as well.
