He's a good player. He's not on Revis's level or anywhere close though.

    Disagree with this list.

Tier 1: Revis, Aso, Woodson, and from what I've seen of Brandon Flowers, he's amazed me, so he actually makes this list for what little time he's had in the NFL.

Your Tier 2 isn't far off. All of those guys have flaws (although Champ's only flaw now is his age and wear). I don't put Finnegan in that list though. I don't think he's nearly as good as people make him out to be. I think McCourty has already stepped up into Tier 2, not Vontae or Haden yet though.

Woodson's been getting abused all year long. There were about six articles on it last week in various media outlets.

Ha yeah, I actually just read that. I guess I haven't paid much attention to the Packers this year.

Cromartie is better when he can use his straight line speed to cover deeper routes. I also think to a certain extent Cromartie is lazy, but it hasnt shown that much

Hmm...I'm curious. Why do you think Deion is overrated? He's just a fast guy, really? He's fast and that's it. I mean, I guess he didn't shut down hall of fame receivers regularly over a significant period of time, right? Please enlighten us...

Where is Cakes when you need him?

Sadly it's not. The only person on the Jets who you can criticize without getting shouted down is Schotty.

I hear that a lot...but I've seen him give out hits and I've seen him straight out fight receivers. He was tough enough and his coverage skills were unreal. I saw somewhere his stats over a four-year period, didn't give up a single touchdown. I'll try and find his stats, but Deion is certainly not overrated. Oh, and he played baseball too.

yeah brandon flowers is very good. woodson has been bad this year like the other poster said. mccourty is playing like a tier 2 CB but he's still a rookie. he looks legit though. imagine if we coulda snatched him up, damn.

Yeah, but is it talent or coaching? If things were the other way around is McCourty on our bench whilst we say "I wish Kyle Wilson fell to us!"?

Cromartie has his fits dealing with change of direction. He has his trouble with the small gnat receivers.

He gets beat but he also gets thrown at more. Cromartie is an aggressive corner, he always has been and teams use it against him. His technique is also not always tight....be's a guy that relies on his athleticism to his detriment sometimes.

It depends if you overrated him.

What I mean is, if you knew what your getting you shouldn't be disappointed. We all witnessed first hand (last year, playoffs hint hint) that he is not a great tackler. I don't know if some people thought he was "elite" or not. I am not disappointed, we got exactly what I expected. A solid number 2 guy.

Cro is good but would be much better if he would learn to jam wr's off the line once in a while, not always trying to run with them. The best corners in the world would struggle with the pass rush our D is giving them right now!

Expected because of age. Woodson still makes plays out there and his trademark is forcing fumbles. Just not at the level he was last year or when he was much younger. I still think he's up there with Revis and Aso

Woodson is a teenager's dream cornerback because he puts up impressive Madden-style numbers with his interceptions, sacks, and forced fumbles. In coverage he's pretty average.

Cromartie plays excellent coverage... He's just a shit tackler and a CB is supposed to have at least solid tackling skills like Revis, and hell even McCourty.

He's a great cover corner but can't tackle to save his life, if he jams recievers at the line more then he would have more success

However I still want Aso on this team
