We should have been playing for the GW fg at that point. Still can't believe Keller dropped that TD before the half.

Sanchez was great yesterday, if we had a D that could stop anhyone we would have won fairly easily. The INT was expected late as we had no TOs and needed 70 yds, he is not at fault for that INT. We have our QB for a long time to come, he's still deverloping and he's going to have poor stretches like he did a few weeks ago but on the road in cold and snow against good D's he has played 2 of his best games of the year all while have an injured thropwing shoulder. Sanchez has been our MVP this season.

I love that fact that the goddamn philosophy has returned to normal so that Sanchez can thrive and gain confidence and look like the type of QB I know he can be.

He played great against two playoff teams on the road in the elements for consecutive weeks and that's exactly what I expect from my QB. He is going to be a pain the ass for defenses for a long time.

All he needs is a defense similar to the 09 defense and this team can go places.

on topic, Sanchez was fantastic yesterday.

off topic, anyone see him at hte press conference?
We have our QB. (i know most of us know this already)
pissed about the pick, and aobut the loss. playoffs, great, expects to be better.
can't ask for anything more out of a 2nd year QB, imo.

If we had the '09 D(very good but still not great) we'd be going to the Super Bowl.

I agree with all of this except for the last point. I'd vote for Holmes as MVP.

His drops have cost us two games, sanchez hasn't really cost us a game. I love Holmes and I hope he is back but we were 3-1 w/o him and Mark was the one passing the ball in those big plays so I'd vote Mark.

Yeah, they mentioned it during the game but he seems to be playing with a chip on his shoulder recently. Maybe due to Rex taking away those reps. It's good, sometimes you need someone to light a fire under you. Part of what makes Brady great is he's never satisfied with his performance. That's where Mark needs to be, we want him to be a perfectionist.

I was very impressed, I've always been pro-Sanchez but he was throwing the ball like I've never seen him throw it before.

Throwing lasers it some tough conditions. I don't know if the shoulder took his mind off of what he might've over-thought in the past.

He's getting hot at the perfect time.

He's always great, when the play calling allows it.

Two weeks in a row, it looks like Simple Brian may actually be maturing into an NFL OC.

Addendum to previous note: Mark Sanchez was sharp on 1st down vs. Bears: 13-15 for 182 yds, 1 TD, 1int. #nfl #nyj #Jets"

    That is pretty impressive.

I agree with you 100%. I laughed in amazement at some of the throws he was making. Its like this kid thrives when the pressure is at its highest.

I really think Mark will be a top 10 qb by next year and hopefully a top 5 QB for years to come.

    Sanchez is a dick.

But he looked good, and he certainly did enough to win.

What's been great about Sanchez the last 2 games has been his accuracy. His completion percentage 65.5 and 64.9 respectively. There is no reason for him to have those below 60% games anymore.
