I fully agree and no one is more disappointed than me that we didn't live up to rex's "lead the league in wins" . We have weaknesses but as has been proved once you are in anything can happen.

We have 1-2 real weaknesses, we used to have 10-12!

Anyway i remember the 1-15 season for the embarrassing home defeats , especially the houston and oakland games!!

    Roll on KC!

The weather was quite lovely for the Houston game if you recall.

My bad, I got the '91 WC game and the last game of the '93 seasons confused.

Playoff football/Humility + hard fought and well deserved victories = hysteria
    Playoff football/Non-stop Smak + luck = disatisfaction

Yeah, the '93 game was the 24-0 one in which Buddy Ryan punched Kevin Gilbride on the sidelines because Ryan was upset with Gilbride's Run-N-Shoot offense. The Oilers had some short drives and Ryan was pissed that his defense wasn't getting enough rest.

hahah. Even though that game sucked a fat one, that Buddy Ryan shit was classic. Right cross to Gilbride's face. I'm chuckling just thinking about it.

The Jets are in the playoffs, with one game to go! When was the last time the team did that? I'm all sorts of fired up and I want to thank this team for a great first 15 games! Bring on the playoffs.

yesterday's result was meaningless, we were locked into thr 6th seed pretty much regardless. My problem w/ yesterday was the D was an embarrassment and the decision making by rex again cost us a game. I nwould love to have gone 12-4 but 12-4 would get us the same seed as 10-6 or 11-5. We need to find a way to start playing medicore D let alone great D. if the D is just good we can go a long way w/ our offense(assuming they wise up and start using Greene more) and STs.

You think maybe they played it close to the vest on D for that very reason?

I don't know, our D hasn't been good most of the year so my guess would be no. I saw Cromartie getting picked on all day just like I have for most of the season. I saw no pass rush just like most opf the season. I am worried about the D.

Most are disappointed with the six seed and after all the off season jabbering they should be. But this decade, aside from winning the Superbowl, has to be the most successful in Jets history. 6 post seasons, a divisional Championship, and AFC title game.

if you can't embrace what has been going on football wise in this organization lately, then you woulnd't know a good time if it sat on your face.
This team has won so many games this year that fans are used to usually seeing them let slip away. Things are looking up, outside of the 2nd new England game this year, they've been in every other game with a chance to win. Been a long time since I've seen that.
