It was definitely funny and odd that they could mess around with the game today because it didn't matter. Next week Seattle plays for real.
With SD laying an egg today, I wonder if Norv Turner could get fired. With Gruden and Cowher and Fisher and Fox all likely to be looking for jobs, maybe SD will make a move.
I understand & agree with you, but I should note that Tampa Bay won in New Orleans in Week 16 last year in a game in which New Orleans tried to win. Of course, New Orleans went the Mark Brunell-give up route in Week 17 and promptly lost 10-23 to a mediocre Carolina team. I would expect NO to beat TB, but I wouldn't guarantee it.
Well, at least Collinsworth, Costas, and Michaels had the balls to be on Lincoln Financial Field at 8:30 in a blizzard.
I was referring to Collinsworth, Costas, and Michaels in my first post on this matter. I didn't watch most of the studio action. I only put it on late and by that time Florio was talking and then from there they went to the guys at the Linc. I don't actually know what Dungy and Harrison and Patrick thought about the postponement.
Yeah, C, C, and M were actually standing on the field. Then they had a guy from the Weather Channel standing in the upper deck.
I guess they don't, but that would go for everything until 11:30, really. I'm sure they aren't pleased, having to come into work when there's not even a game happening, and then I assume doing it again on Tuesday. I would've watched after the Giants game was decided and before the bowl game came on. Too bad.
