I can't remember the last time the Jets got 11 wins, so I won't count my chickens. And even though we're in the playoffs, I have absolutely no idea what kind of team we have. It's not even from week to week, it's from series to series. We have a great stop and we're getting pressure on the Qb, to we're getting no pressure and wide receivers are open downfield. We hit DK and move the chains to we throw it to Holmes a million fucking times or pound LT and hope he hangs onto the ball. The fake punt was obviously the dumbest call all season. Also, why in the 2nd half would u kick it to Hester after you have made him a non factor in the first half pooching and kicking away? Can we please play-action roll out sanchez ONE time on first down? Or is it always going to be a run up the gut to LT? Can we complete a screen pass..ever? Rex, can we please blitz the safeties? The coverage outside of Cromartie and Revis is terrible. Not to mention every time we blitz one of our fast guys, we hurry the Qb and usually make a lot of good things happen. I don't know what we have to do to get Bart a sack. Our front four are slugs and great at taking up space, but they don't get to the QB on their own. Coleman u are the worst. GFY NE.
if ive learned anything watching football my whole life is that if you want to be successful in the playoffs and possibly win a championship then you have to get hot at the right time. that can happen in the wildcard round if you got some good foundations to build on but usually it happens weeks 15-16. So with perspective, yes the jets can still get hot and get on a roll. But there really havent been much indication, there are alot of glaring wholes and weaknesses that we see almost every week. Until this team starts clicking on multiple cylinders and on both sides of the ball then they will not inspire faith and confidence in the fans for the postseason. you must get hot at the right time. thats really all that matters when your talking playoffs.
So from what I understand, the jets would be lucky to beat the bills and finish 11-5. And if they can be sooooooooo lucky as to beat a 4-11 team that would classify them as backing into the playoffs with an 11-5 record? hmmmmmmmmm I'll take 11-5 and from what you consider backing into the playoffs every year. Either you were too young to remember the late 80's and 90's or just another SOJ FAN!!!!!!!!!
Ya know how the board stays clean by not allowing duplicate threads and such, can we keep the board clean by just permanantly banning people like this right from the get go and save the agony of what is to come eventually anyway?
I live in Chicago. This is worse than the Miami loss. I believed last year's team had ability to win games. This team can get no farther than the second round. Count me in as NEGATIVE NELLY!
I'm fairly sure if the Jets win a Superbowl, 3/5 of the posts will bitch about the score being too close and we're doomed,
Because our Offense got their shit together. Defense just seemed lost. Not a shitshow. It was the fake punt that changed the momentum.
The regular season DOESN'T MEAN SHIT IN THE PLAYOFFS! Going 16-0 does not guarantee you a superbowl victory. Going 9-7 doesn't mean you don't have a chance to go to the superbowl. Please kindly fellate yourself.
I've been a fan since Richie Kotite and 1-15, so all my negativity is used up. It's all "glass half full" mentality now.
That is ridiculous. Yes it does. It is a fresh start, but it's the same players and coaches, just vs even harder opponents. For a fan to have some worry about going in playing the way the jets have been is not unreasonable. Do you want to get bounced by the pats 45-3 again? I don't.
I hate all these fucking ass faggot fans that never post here, then show up and make new threads that aren't worth Gholston's turds. Fuck all of you assholes...we're in the fucking playoffs!!! BLOW ME
