I heard Revis' name mentioned once when he made a tackle for a loss or no gain. I hear HARTSOCK's name mentioned more often, which you KNOW is not a good sign.
what the hell are you talking about? If a corner's name is never mentioned it means he is taking his player out of the game entirely. Its a sign of excellent play. My question is why Revis didnt shadow Marshall wherever he went. But thats obviously not the way we planned to play it yesterday.
Mmm I thought I saw Revis on Sanders man-to-man once where Revis absolutely levelled him after a catch. Either way, Revis is not getting any targets this season, rightfully so.
Considering how awful Harris was on Sunday, Revis stepped up and made some huge tackles in run support. The guy just does it all.
Oh yeah, and there was a pass defensed on someone else, unless thats the play your referring too. He's the best.

So I'm talking to my friends(all Giants fans and 1 Jets fan) while drinking some beers and discussing football. One friend brings up how he hasn't heard Revis' name all year. I say it's because no one throws to him. Everyone erupts, including the Jet fan, saying QB's have been eating him up. I say that's bull because he only gets targeted 3-7 times a game and if there's a catch its for like 5 yards. Than my Jet fan friend goes as far as to say that I'm the reason everyone thinks Jet fans are stupid... WTF? Has this kid been watching the games this season?
Revis hasnt given up a completion since thanksgiving when he shut down Owens. He didn't get a target against pats, he got 2 targets against Miami and both were incomplete, against the steelers he had 3 targets 0 completions.. The game before he shut down owens, the game before that he shut down Andre Johnson, the game before that he gave up 1 catch on 3 attempts to the browns, the game before that he shut down Calvin, the game before that he gave up 1 catch on like 4 targets to the packers.. Since the bye the last 8 games he been better then last year.

You should tell those idiots that the majority of fans are stupid. There is a few select people that you'll meet in real life that won't sound like complete idiots when they discuss sports. They talk like they know a lot but they really don't. The dumb posters that make awful threads threads are probably 80% of the entire sports fan base.
That situation sounds unbearable. I'm the type that never lets that sort of thing go, so I'd berate them about it until they saw it my way.
Do what I do, make sure your friends know that you know more than them about not only your team, but theirs as well.
