The KSK character isn't half the character the real Rex is. Sometimes real-life is stranger than fiction. If this is indeed him and his wife, ultimately, they are going to have to take what comes their way. The videos, profiles, etc. weren't stolen, but put forth for public exposure. So, as distasteful the reporting of this may seem, it was out there through their own volition. I hope they can get past it without being irreparably harmed.
I agree with this. This whole story had me hysterical laughing before. Personally, I dont care and he can do whatever he wants, but I still find it beyond hilarious.
It's embarrassing, but harmless. Who cares? It will be a story until the Jets win or lose this weekend. The worst thing that will happen is that he'll get a lot of foot products left in his office by players, as a goof.
Ok, but my second guess is going to be the same as my first. Goodell isn't going to do shit about this. Did he punish Bellicheat for having relations with a married woman? My guess is that Goodell wouldn't touch this with Rex Ryan's 10 foot dick.
Where is the action or gesture that is rated X? Flipping off homosexual Fin fans is actually more obscene than this non story.
The NFL has this little "Conduct Policy", 'detrimental to the NFL'. Godell has used it before, and I fully expoect him to use it here. That doesn't mean I agree with it, but I am more than annoyed that Rex would bring this down on himself and the franchise.
I feel this is going to get ugly We better win on Sunday. If not, we will never hear the end of it, unless we somehow win the SB
Nothing illegal, immoral, or dangerous happened, so on what basis could Godell go after Ryan? I think the media will go after him, purely for the laughs. I'm sure he's tough enough to deal with that. Hopefully his wife is too.
If Goodell didn't go after James Harrison for punching his wife in the face, he won't go after Rex for fucking his wife in the foot.
To think Tony Dungy was miffed at Rex's language on "Hard Knocks"? He is going to absolutely stroke out when he gets wind of this story. . .
I like Rex as a coach and all but how much embarrassing shit has to happen before you start to say WTF?
Wait, so how exactly does his pulling the accounts in question as soon as he started interviewing for the Jets equal him "bringing this down on himself and the franchise"? Doesn't it in fact show the opposite? That Rex specifically DIDN'T want this hanging over his and the Jets' head?
Goddell doesn't really punish coaches, it's more players. I don't expect him to do anything The media on the other hand will kill the Jets for this
I don't understand how this is detrimental to the NFL. I don't get how this is going to bring attention that is hurtful to the team or organization. I can see the NFL respecting the personal life of their personnel, unlike what Deadspin has done because that site is dedicated to ruining lives. This not the same as the other issues.
