Well, yeah. I thought you might have some class. Or want to win legit. Sorry, I was misled by some of the posters here.
As do I. Unlike a lot of fans on this board I believe when our team is firing on all cylinders and everything is clicking they can beat anyone. Also we absolutely need to redeem ourselves after that last game.
The only way we miss out it seems is if we go 0-2, Jac and Indy win out and SD and KC lose at least 1 game between them. The only team that can take our wildcard spot is the Jags. If we're 10-6 along with SD and Jac we get in on strength of victory apparently
We will make the playoffs no doubt. Im more worried to see if we are playing the Chiefs or Chargers. Chiefs need to win their next 2 games. Lets go!!!!!!!!!
now that the bears are conference champs, do they take their foot off the gas a little, or are they still playing for something?
thats the issue though...it sounds easy "play to your potential"...but we haven't done that consistantly this season also on the road vs chicago...don't see how thats a blow out
The Bears are still fighting for the #2 seed. They will be fighting tooth and nail for a victory Sunday.
To be honest I'm most concerned with Ind loosing one more. I don't want to see them in the 4,5 spot in a dome. I know they are struggling a bit, but Manning is still Manning. I'm not afraid to go to KC, Jax, or SD in the wildcard. although I would prefer KC bc I think we match up best against them.
Right now they're the 2 seed because they beat Philly, so they hold the tiebreaker. They're both 10-4 The Bears have us and the Packers left, the Eagles have Minny and Dallas left so I don't see them letting up.
Francesa disagrees. He says that teams don't usually fight to move up from the 3 to the 2 seed, so a Bears win last night would be a "big break" for the Jets. Yes he really said that.
