I've been waiting all year for a big play, we finally got one. I hope to see more over the next month or so.

lol - I was thinking about creating a thread about how completely useless JT was out there until he made that play. He looks old and slow on the field, but his experience allowed him to guess right on that play.

What game were you watching? Lets see by generating that safety he took the FG option away from the Steelers forcing them to have get a TD to beat us. Besides that game winning play (see that NY Junc) he also STILL leads the NYJs in sacks. I think Tanny spent his 1M or so salary wisely in his case :jets:

He's joking b/c I dared to say up 14 w/ 4 mins to play sacking Brady wasn't really a big play or up 9 w/ under a minute on the Minny side of the field sacking favre wsn't a big play.

Yep while he gets paid to play IMHO the entire Jets Nation should be saying THANK U to him for that play because otherwise a FG was possible & then if made OT & anything could have happen in that period. I guess AOS totally forgot that safety forced the Steel mam to score a TD instead of going for a chippy FG :jets:

Huge play in enemy territory. I was in a Steeler bar and the place gassed out. You could see them all deflate. Loud obnoxious fans. I guess winning two Superbowls will do that to you. I put up a quiet fist pump in the silence. Thank you Jason Taylor.

When you look at the back page of the Daily News today, I think his passion for winning football games is still pretty evident. The 2 points turned out to be a big deal and he personally changed the way Pittsburgh approached their final drive. He's as responsible for this win in a MUST-WIN as anyone else, if not more.

And if this was ALL he did for us this season, signing him was absolutely worth it.

Listen Taylor made a huge play but let's not kid ourselves: the passrush has been our achilles' heel this season on D. We should definitely try and upgrade the position next season.

Kudos to JT for the game-altering play, though.

I think we missed Trevor Pryce on 3rd down, he's been doing a great job as a situational pass rusher.

He was the DPOY once, so he should be the DPOY again.
