When Rex talked about the SOJ my first thought was he listens and reads the media and fans. I get this feeling he really knows whats being said from week to week. I get why Fatso was pissed. He was just called out by the coach and his ego can't stand that Rex was right. He has to be the biggest hipocrit there is, He makes that kind snide remark all the time but when it is said to him it's wrong. What a jerk!
Easy, tough guy. A good (and surprising) win, but still a long way to go to show that this is a championship caliber team. Let's see what happens in Chicago.
Ok, no problem :wink: ... but It would be really nice if this "let's see what happens" approach would apply after a loss too ... but we all know what happens on here if God-forbid, we actually lose a game.
After they lose there is no "ok this was a bad game but lets see how things go next week" attitude from most people. The attitudes of the vocal doom and gloomers is either "we still have a lot of work to do" or "the Jets are never going to win a game again." it is annoying to say the least.
Rex hates the SOJ bullshit as much as I do. Another reason why I love him. Who in their right mind would try to tell Rex Ryan that there is some sort of mediocrity curse on the team he runs? He'd fart in your mouth
yep..never seen the same old jets play like a superbowl team in pittsburgh. good thread. rex ryans shit talking is good for football. whats bad is when the players do it on the field when the scoreboard indicates they need to stfu (santonio vs the pats did his first down thing when we were down 3 td's for example)

it's a radio/tv/written journalism technique. go against the grain, get ratings. one thing fatbitchcessa is good at, it's drawing our attention spans.
Did you notice the 1st thing he said on his show was that He knows JETS fans are not gonna like it but they are not the lead tonight...They can't be because of the GIANTS... I was like wow, but in all fairness...that collapse was epic so I gave him a pass. I thought it was funny that he would actually say that though.
