If the Jets lost the way the Giants did today we would also have heard about:

    1) the horrible decision by the Eagles to throw a 10 yard pass at the end of the half on a play that had no purpose - either take a knee or throw it downfield. The fumble gave the Giants a gift TD. If the Jets got a TD like that it would pure luck that the Eagles were so stupid at the end of the half. That TD was handed to the Giants on a "sivlah platta. "

    2) How could Reid not challenge the Jackson non-fumble??? The Jets beat the Bengles by 16 on Turkey day all because Lewis was too stupid to not challenge a play. Yet Reid's non-challenge wipes out a huge gain, leads directly to a punt and then another Giants score.

So not only did the Giants blow a 21 point with 8 minutes left, but 14 of the 21 points that made up that lead were handed to them by the stupidity of the Eagles CS.

Giants were handed the lead on a silvah plattah, then had the disastah of a the collapse.

Notice also how he knocked the special teams, but not much against that vaunted classic Giant defense??????

And why not talk about the complete lack of class shown by the Giants? Coughlin running on the field to ball out the punter??? His team had already blown the lead? There was no way the Giants were winning that game in OT anyway.

And did anyone hear Vick's presser? He said the Giants walked off the field at the end of the game without shaking hands. Anybody see or hear anything about that? Talk about class!!!

He'd never criticize the Giants the way he does the Jets, luck never plays into their hands. It's always skill with them. When Jackson was taunting them all the way into the endzone I was celebrating as if it was a Jets win.

They can rip the punter all they want but the bottom line is A) it was a high snap and B) Jackson fumbled but their punt coverage was so bad that he still torched them right up the middle.

    @Joe Willie White Shoes-

I hadn't heard about the lack of handshakes. Not the biggest deal in the world but of course Fatty would be crucifying the Jets if they did that after a loss like that.

If Rex had enabled that kind of choke job , screamed at his punter, then allowed his team to run off the field w/o shaking hands and thrown his team under the bus - wonder what the cesspool would have to say? lackadiscipline...no pershanal responsabilitee, deskraceful lacka leadaship

I think Jackson did that to make sure there was no time left on the clock but what was great was that it just rubbed it in the Giants' faces.

I don't really mind the Giants organization, they have a bunch of players who I like. There's some douchebags on that team (mainly Brandon Jacobs) but overall I have no problem with that team. I have lots of friends and family who are good Giant fans that don't talk shit.

But the douchebag Giant fans deserved this, especially after they went nuts after the NE game.

Agreed. I feel for my brother-in-law but am laffing my azz off at all of the fuckwads who call Fatty's show to trash the Jets and to say Wellington Mara would never have done things like woody etc. For Fatty and those douches I'm fucking thrilled that this happened. Truth be told a similar humiliation could have happened a couple of weeks back with Jacksonville...

Caller: thanks for taking my call mike, first time long time
Francessa: yep what's on your mind Danish
Caller: mike who do you think was more dissapointed this weekend? The giants fanbase or your wife after sex?

The punter is the last person to blame there... it was a high snap on a bull rush which is on the long snapper... also how is it the punters fault that Jackson scored UNTOUCHED AFTER he muffed the catch? The punter, to his credit, came the closest to tackling Jackson before he got lit up by a blocker

    Exactly.

Thats a point being missed. What you have to remember is lets say this guy tries to kick it out of bounds and muffs even slightly....the Eagles are in field goal position with just one decent play.

The high snap put the kicker in a position to just get rid of the ball and not get too cute. Coughlin has a set of balls on him running after the punter when he was the HC to one of the greatest collapses in the history of the NFL. YEP....that feels really good saying that.

I agree. And personally, I think people are getting far too caught up in that one play anyway. Sure, it was a terrible mistake to kick it to Jackson. But remember, the Giants were up by 21 POINTS with 7:29 left in the game. They made HUGE, INEXCUSABLE MISTAKE after HUGE INEXCUSABLE MISTAKE. To start things off, they instantly gave up an 80 yard touchdown pass to Brent f*cking Celek. (How are you not in quarters coverage up by three scores that late in the game????). Then they allowed the easiest onside kick in the history of the NFL. Did you see how they played that kick? They had NO CLUE an onside kick was coming. How could you possibly be that ill-prepared for an onside kick up two scores that late in the game???? I could go on, but you get the point . . .
