Run, Run, Run and keep Brady off the field, and then keep pressure on Brady constantly, that's how they almost pulled off the win today and how Cleveland beat them a few weeks ago and how we beat them in Week 2. Brady was practically on the field the entire game in our last game and we strayed from the running game, if we are to cross them in the playoffs this is the blueprint to beat them.
They brought pressure and played excellent man to man coverage. They had the blueprint but also the personnel. That team can rush the passer. We can't it's a shame the packers lost that game. That special teams play really was the difference in the end. The good thing is that the patriots showed they are Not invincible, even at home.
Moving the ball on offense and getting pressure on the QB is how you beat any team. In the NFL it is sometimes easier said than done.
Yeah, have your starting QB should be added to the blueprint and it's pretty good. Still doesn't change that the blueprint is obvious but difficult to do.
The packers sustained long drives. And then they got Brady off the field quick a bunch of times. The pick six and the stupid kickoff return were the reason the pats won. Also the stop at the goal line
The outcome doesn't mean it didn't work. A fluke speical teams play was the difference. Not the offensive and defensive philosophy
I don't know why we decided to throw the ball against the pats.. We should have just grounded and pounded those bastards.
Patriots arent unstoppable. Lets see if the Phins or Bills can pull out any tricks. The Phins shut down brady last time and have the #4 ranked defense. Then again Brady might not be playing week 17. And if he is they aren't playing for real.
It looked like we would have had a very successful day running, but a couple dumb special teams plays combined with another couple of dumb decisions put us in way too big of a hole early, and we went away from our gameplan.
The refs favor the Patriots in every game. You can't beat the Patriots and the refs. They get every break.
The packers got a break in this game with that penalty on that interception so they don't get every call.
Throw in some poor officiating (ie do over when Brady was going to get smashed) and that took us out of our game plan early.
Seriously??? I remember am unnecessary roughness call on McCourty followed by a Sanders PI call that set up a GB TD, a facemask on Wilfork that set up another, and a hands-to-face on Banta-Cain that reversed a pats interception. I'm not saying that they were all terrible calls, but we definitely weren't getting any favors from the refs.
The WORLD must be really thanking the packers for showing them that - packers have one on the best D's in the league and that young backup played better than sanchez. Pats still have the youngest D in the league and nobody said they can't lose. 12 - 2 and this is a rebuilding year. TASTY!
100%. They also were able to pass the ball a bit, creating balance. Our pass O was unable to create balance @NE so they keyed the run.
