Not often we play each other, and I wanted to post more this week to discuss today's game, but wife and I are t-minus 5 weeks from welcoming a son, and work is in overtime mode. I am going to say that today should produce one of the best defensive struggles of the season. Both of these defenses have something to prove, and both teams need a win to keep fighting for playoff position. The Jets are better in the trenches which could prove to be the difference in the end, though I feel Big Ben is the better quarterback and in the end, that should be the difference. Steelers win 13-10. Good luck today Gang Green!
you were probably better off not posting this week, it would have gotten lost in the shotty bashing, rex bashing, sanchez bashing, the world is falling in, the world is not falling in and numerous other topics that have been beaten to death over the last few days. i really have no idea how this game is going to play out, definitely not a game you want to bet on. i hope it is hard fought and close and i hope we start pulling these games out like we did earlier in the year. good luck to you as well. its great when guys come on to discuss a game instead of talk trash, thank you for that.
Yeah I did see a lot of that. You guys are still in good position to make the playoffs, and I think once you get there, you guys have a defense that can win games. I'll be bold and say that the Patriots will not beat both the Steelers and the Jets in the playoffs.

I see these two teams as evenly matched, and I'm giving the standard fg difference to the home team. If this was being played on your turf, I'd be predicting a J-E-T-S victory.

It's an interesting game today however I think like others have alluded to for Jets fans they're less worried about the Steelers and more worried about a third straight implosion in a row. The good thing is that them Twinkie towels make great ass wipes :wink: The one thing to be said is that w/the way BenDover is hobbled, we have to make him rush throws and move. He's been around for a few years and is one of the visiting posters we respect because he does the same... He'll post win or lose, Not like the influx of Pats posters who all of a sudden show up after a 45-3 win.

Whoever you got as an OC is much better than the idiot Jets have. With Leonhard out, Ben shouldn't have much difficulty attacking the middle of the field. I am expecting more in tune of 27-3 or so in Steeler's favor, with most of the points coming off from Sanchez INT or fumble. I have absolutely no confidence in Jets offense scoring TD on their own.
