I'm not sure I get the point. Pretty much any time you lose a game around here the consensus is we suck and it's the "same old Jets". Lose two games as we just did and the sky is falling. Never mind that New England right now is kicking the crap out of everyone, including Pittsburgh and including the Bears.

No one gets the point. This is the worst list since Schindler came out with his.

Not sure what the OP's intentions were.

However just looking at that list - it is amazing the low scoring the Jets put up in those games. Shit most of them not even a single touchdown. The majority not being what anyone would truly classify as against a shutdown dominant defense.

INTERESTING FACT: In November/December, 50% of the teams who take part in a game come away with a loss. Just wanted to share that with you guys.

Hate to point it out, but you may be experiencing your first.

And for the others, who "can't see the point", here it is - in the time when championship teams are playing thier best ball, the Jets have traditionally sucked - and the same is happening this year. And if you need to know how to breath, let me know, I can help you with that too.

What I don't get is why there is no dome. Fuck outside weather. And fuck Jim Dolan too. I would have gotten season tix had Manhattan move happened. Relevance to this thread: indoor weather = easier for teams to play. Sure "ground and pound" should work in the outdoor conditions, but I'd rather enjoy going to a game instead of dying. just personal preference... I mean I will be dying in Chicago at Soldier Field, but I'd prefer not to given the choice (if you get what i'm trying to say). Is this list of losses home too? That would be a decent stat... would show our Jets can't play at home in Winter.

How the fuck is this a total breakdown?

08 was worse, and the writing was on the wall with how putrid the defense played and the refusal to use the best run game in the country.

I'm not experiencing shit. I'm not someone who cowers in the face of adversity.

You "old timers" have experienced the same shit as other franchises, but you never ventured out of Jet land to understand that. It's laughable to think the Jets are the only team to suffer big losses or late season breakdowns with teams that never looked championship-esque all season. Look around the NFL, this shit happens all the time.

Its pretty hilarious how delusional and fishbowl the whole mentality is. I'm not only above it, I'm immune to it.

    Real Football?

While the Colts finally broke the trend, dome teams tend to be speed teams rather than power teams, and speed teams don't do well in the late season. When the time comes to play one's best ball, speed teams can't run faster, but power teams can start hitting people even harder.

Real football teams play in real weather. The Giants are a real football team, and share a stadium with the Jets, therefore...

I agree. Plus, when you play outdoors in a windy and rainy climate like the Meadowlands there are going to be low scoring games. To compile a cherry-picked list of the ones we've lost over 25 years or whatever proves nothing.

If the weather bothers you that much, then don't go.

    You have two choices-
go and shut the hell up and stop complaining
    OR
stay home and bitch about the weather.

It's gotta be one or the other.

Colts went 3-2 in their last 5 in 2009. the 2 loses were without starters.

2008 they won their last 9

    2007 6 of their last 7

2006 2-3 in december and won the SB

yeah, the issue here is that championship teams lose in december too.
That is why the point is nonexistent. We all know the Jets are a mediocre franchise. Being mediocre means you don't play your best football at playoff time. I didn't need a list to understand this.
