I went a while without playing it, but I recently got into My Player mode again. Have a 6'4 PG, was drafted by the Wizards for some reason after they got Wall so I requested a trade and was sent to the Warriors. Pretty fun...averaging pretty good numbers and getting my stats up fast
How did you request a trade? I was drafted by the Wizards at PG too, awful. My SG was drafted by Memphis. Doing pretty well. This game is a must have for any NBA fan. Pretty realistic. Best sim game you'll find out there in any sport.
This game is sick. Best sports game I've ever played I think. So much harder than the old ones, you actually have to play realistically now which is good.
There should be a tab called My Trades. There you can do it. I got drafted by the kings, but the kings are gay so I went to the Trail Blazers and we're ripping shit up.
Like swifty said...there is a My Trades section First attempt didn't work.....2nd time it did. Had to beat out Stephen Curry for the starting job but I did it after a few games, better then having Wall on your team.
I got drafted as a small forward by the Grizzlies. I won the title year one, so I signed with the Magic. They ran set plays there, and I didn't like it as much, and they made me play more guard than I wanted to, so I requested a trade. Now I'm on the Wizards. They still run set plays. I wish I stayed a Grizzly. Winning a title is tough with the Grizzlies when your My Player replaces the best player on the Grizzlies in the lineup. Rudy Gay came off the bench and didn't do anything. Conley and Mayo were like the worst guards ever.
Yeah it sucks when you get drafted to a team where the position you play is their best player. Where are your stats and and what kind of numbers do you put up?
Brandon Roy was averaging 28 points before I came on the team.. now he's down to 15, I'm sucha ball hog.
Haha I ruined my players stats too....I'm not a ball hog but I am a stat stuffer. Since I became a starter I'm averaging something like 19 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 block, 1 steal
I'm at 33 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists. I lead the leauge in points, PPG, Shots taken, %. Yet I'm 1 for 18 from the free throw line...hate free throws.
I do Vince Carter's free throws and I'm shooting at around 90% The 2 things that piss me off most: -When your teammate passes you the ball while you have a foot on the line...giving you a turnover -My coach the last few games has put me at SG for a 2 minute stretch in the 4th quarter with Jordan fucking Farmar at PG....why? no idea...I start at PG and those are Farmar's only 2 minutes of the game, where we do nothing because he just dribbles until there are 2 seconds left then turns it over
I bought this game a week ago and love the my player mode. I made a PG and luckily got drafted by my favorite team (the nets, yea i know they suck). Right now we're somewhere around 4th to 6th place in the conference but i think it's only been about 10 games. I play like 28 minutes behind Devin Harris but usually come in as a SG. I'm only like a 42 overall though I wish you could go up faster.
