I voted yes, because i think 10 wins will do it, and there is no way in hell the bills beat us at home in a win to get in game.

I voted yes but I think it's nothing more than pure homerism at this point.

Not a chance, I'm not sure we will win another game before the end of the year. Looks like the classic SOJ rearing their ugly head once again.

There's not a chance we make it with a 2 game lead over the other wildcard teams with 3 games to go?

    We'll make it.

lets be honest, were all a little upset cause were not that super bowl team we thought we would be, but were still making the damn playoffs, and were better on the road anyways!

I'm hoping we do, I'm not nearly as confident as you. We're on a 2 game losing streak that has included our offense on a milk carton. Our offensive line looks like the 2007 version, we can't run the ball, our receivers can't catch the ball and our QB is passing to the other team. Now we're going on the road to face 2 of the best defenses in the league.

Unless something drastic happens on the offensive side of the ball or we start scoring on defense we could be riding a demoralizing 4 game losing streak into week 17 needing a win and help.

That's what it looks like from my POV anyway. You want to dress that up and make it look pretty, go ahead.

If the Jets go 10-6 we may be out of the playoffs. Pitt, NE, KC/SD, Jax/Colts may be the Div winners. So you have 4 teams (Jax/Colts, KC/SD, Balt, & Jets fighting for 2 WC spots. Its gonna be very ugly.

The way our O is looking we will be out of the playoffs.

    I didn't answer because I don't know.

What I do know is it won't matter if the Jets somehow make it in unless they start playing better.

If the question were do you think it likely the Jets will not only make it into the playoffs, but play quality football like a playoff team should?

    I would probably say no.

If we can beat either the Steelers or the Bears I think we can get by the Bills and make the play offs.

But, if we cruise into the Buffalo game on a four game skid I think we might witness the Three Stooges brand of football the Jets featured yesterday and last year against the Falcons, Dolphins and Bills.

Yup. It hasn't been pretty, but i'll take our chances.

I still have faith in the team.

Come on your D is way too good to not make the playoffs. I even expect you guys to win AT LEAST one game in the playoffs. Even though the Pats beat you guys handily, you guys beat them this year as well. The league is down the middle this year without many dominant teams.

It's all about matchups. Even the "lowly" Browns, Bills and Lions are all playing well at times this year. Great parity as always. The Patriots are the only team starting to distance themselves a bit, but who knows...if Brady takes one bad hit, their season is up in flames.

The Jets have scored 9 points in the last 8 quarters of football and haven't given us any reason to believe it's getting better. Now we're going on the road to face 2 of the better D's in the league. How exactly are we going to score points, that's my problem.

I honestly believe we will lose these next 3 games in the biggest choke since Manginin was fired. We are not as good as our record indicated and I truly believe our offense and defense has been exposed.

Sanchez still has much growing up to do (when he does I think he will be a good QB) and Our defense is overrated. Yesterday's defensive effort was more a product of Miami playing poorly thatn us playing well.

I think we all have a little faith and we all will root hard for this team. But as a realist I believe our team has been exposed.

We have 3 chances to win. All three are winnable games. Pittsburgh and Chicago are difficult games, but definitely winnable. Against Buffalo we will be favored to win. Its not like we are at New England the next three weeks. Chicago and Pittsburgh are good teams that are struggling. That is no different from us. I think that one win will get us to the playoffs, and I see no way that we lose all three and miss the playoffs. Even if we lose all three, we can still make the playoffs.

Steelers and Bears are not these unbelievable teams that we have no chance of beating guys. Big Ben is in a body cast and his O line is absolute shit right now. Yes even worse then our line now. They have a concussed TE which everyone likes to say is our biggest weakness.

As far as the Bears go they have a great RB which we can stop and Jay Cutler at qb. They have a great D but then again that D just did almost as bad as we did against the Patriots.

    Bills are the Bills.

Theres no way we do not win atleast 2 of the next 3 games but I would not be shocked if we win all 3.
