I agree that this year he sucked in both games against the Jets as he did in most of the games this year. But he's done enough in four games against the Jets to win three of them. Please, don't make me defend Henne. I don't like him as our starter. I hope we find a better qb in the off-season. LOL
Yeah, we were up 20-14 and went into total prevent on that last drive and almost gave up the score. Since it was week 1/Favre's 1st game/Dolphins 1st game following a 1-15 season none of us thought of it as a harbinger of things to come that year.
haha that was one of the few fins games i haven't gotten to watch over the past 5 years. I was listening on Sirius and thought we were gonna pull it off at the end
Anytime a team does something not within the rules, that may change the outcome of the game, no matter how little, it will be considered cheating. It's happened before, and often gets blown way out of proportion. Some opposing fans will actually bring it up every time they get beat just to justify their loss. The guy made a bad mistake. Hopefully it will fade away, but sometimes they linger.
where's Derrick Mason when you need him? Quite possibly the best quote of the entire year came from his mouth
I have a bigger problem w/ Ricky Williams: This is the same guy that walked out on his team a week before training camp and has been suspended multiple times for drugs.
I don't know why everybody's getting on Sal Alosi for yesterday's actions, at least somebody on the team made a tackle.
Dolphins are DELUSIONAL! Their defense kicked our ass? We kicked our own ass! Carroll "split" the double team ? ...yeah, by running out of bounds for 30 yards, after he was previously penalized for the same thing. Ricky Williams... just shut up! This is why it is so painful to lose to the Dolphins
Well said. I'm keeping my own council on this today and remembering Leon nuking him in that tackle last year. (Please someone put it up to salve the pain of yesterday).
Tackling was not an issue yesterday. Dolphins had only 165 yards of offense, and completed a total of five passes all day. The Jets had five sacks and two forced fumbles. It was the best the Jets D has played in weeks. And that with Sanchez giving the phins short fields to work with.
