This is a poorly coached team. Terrible predictable playcalling. Predictable wr routes always getting jumped. Undisciplined. Unprepared. But the good thing is we are a very confident fan base. Still early. Very early.
I've always assumed that Rex would back up his talk with good coaching. I think he is a very smart coach and when the offense and defense plays well, they look really good. I don't think Rex Ryan makes these guys work hard enough though. The problem is consistency. It seems like they get 3 days off and 2 days of hanging out at a practice field. He's gotta stop being such "players coach" when it comes to time off and whip these guys asses into shape.
If we do our jobs and give 100% then hell yeah we can skip practices and eat mcdonalds on the field and mess around with shakeweights, but if you slip up one iota, and give less than 100% effort then fun time is over and we gotta get back to business." He needs to crack the whip and get people focused.
Slight correction: START coaching, less talking. 'More coaching' kind of implies to me that there's been some level of coaching so far.
Yeah, trip up guys is the fucking rex ryan gameplan. Fuck your team and fuck all of the fucking fans. That team will never go to anything meaningful again.
The talk is only tolerable if you're winning. This team has turned to complete fucking shit. They are consistently being out played and out coached. Fuck this. I'll come around again in august. Even if they make the playoffs this team is done.
The reality is the Jets have found a way to win at least 4 games just like this one. In some cases on the last play of the game. The Jets might still win, but you can't make a living in the NFL making last second comebacks. I bet the Jets still win this one
Thats why I'm convinced that they're gonna collapse, no changes are ever made. Every week, its like they go with the same thing. It initially doesn't work (our wonderful weekly preparations), then the players either respond by putting together a good comeback or fail to do anything.
