Wouldn't be fair to the Vikings. I say move it to a college stadium. I wonder how far the university of minnesota is from the Metrodome?

Just looked it up, the Gophers stadium is only a mile or so away. Actually, the Golden Gophers, Vikings and Twins stadiums are all within two miles of each other.

It's funny... Minnesota playing outdoors at home benefits the Giants

    He really said that?

    Unbelievable.

How would that be fair to the Eagles, Bears, Packers, Falcons, Saints, and Bucs?

The NFL needs to play this game at the Golden Gophers stadium. I know it does not have enough seats to otherwise host an NFL game per league rules, but to hell with that. This has to be fair. This game cannot be another farce like New Orleans at New York Giants at New Orleans in New Jersey in 2005.

Mike: "Waitta second. Waitta second. The game's gotta be played. Ya can't play it inna college pahk!!! It's gotta be moved tuh Giants Stadium."

Caller: "Yeah, but Mike, that gives the Giants a huge advantage in the playoff race. They get an extra home game."

Mike: "Waitta second. Dat's outrageous. Waitta second, waitta second. Dat's no advantage. Da Vikings logo will be on da field!! Use ya noogin!"

Anyone catch the statement from the Giants?

"Miami is nice this time of year & we already have an arrangement with the Dolphins"

A reference to the Giants allowing Miami to practice on their field the last 2 days... but there's no anti Jet bias around the league

Giants definitely will not want to play outdoors in Minnesota - especially given the way their RBs, WRs, and QB cough up the ball in good weather. Definitely see them pushing for a dome.

If the shoe was on the other foot, and the Jets let a warm weather team that was about to play the Giants practice in December at the NYJ facility, Fatty would be going nuts.

It should not be the Giants call to make. The league will bail them out and move the game to another dome- likely Detroit or New Orleans with the excuse being that the Giants didn't bring cold weather gear. Really it is probably because the NFL does not want to play a game in a college stadium that only has 50,000 seats.

Scenario B is much better according to the NFL

A- play game in 50,000 seat Minnesota stadium so that Vikings fans can attend the game and fill up the stadium

B- play game in Michigan or Louisiana so some Vikings fans can attend and capacity will only be reached if many, many, many tickets are given away for free
