6 pm is real tough for Nyers to get home from work and see and thats a 5 pm local time in Minny. I would expect it to be 730 or 8 on FOX broadcast strictly in the NY and Minny markets...
That is what it is - 8 PM on Fox in NY and the Twin Cities. http://nfl-facts-and-rumors.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22475988/26369324
Didn't read the whole thing my bad. I just saw 8 PM and thought it was Sunday Night. So do we get a Sunday game on Fox now?
This is a CBS national weekend, so it is possible that the only game FOX-New York will get is the Giants-Vikings game on Monday night. I think the New York market was only to have one FOX game this week and I'm not sure that is going to change.
There has to be someway for something like 7-5 TB vs 5-7 WSH on FOX because leaving a major market with 2-10 CIN @ 9-3 PIT is big trouble. Why OAK/JAX wasn't the 1PM CBS game I will never know. MSG is a huge winner.....Nuggets/Knicks is gonna get some love, especially if CIN/PIT is the lone football game.
Nothing official about the start of the game yet or what channel its on. I am hoping for a double header still. Matching it up with MNF would be really dumb as losing the New York Market and Minnesota market is not wise.
Damn that sucks lmao...speaking of him, guess tomorrah night is gonna be awl Jets tawk cuz ah da snow
If Moss was still on the Vikings it would be the 2nd time this season he'd play in consecutive Monday Night games.
game is in Detroit tomorrow night. 7:20 PM EST kickoff getting played in rival territory for the Vikings.
re: 35 NFL Network is now reporting that the Packers-Lions tilt will be shown in NY. That Bucs-Redskins info was from Francesser.
If so, then he wildly misspoke or I wildly misheard. I thought he said something to the tune of, "Bucs-Redskins will be shown on FOX at 1:00."
Two teams (Lions and Vikings) going nowhere, that haven't both been good at the same time for the past 40 years or so (only 3 times since 1971 have both finished above .500 in the same season). Probably not much of a rivalry at this point, depsite being in the same division. The biggest advantage the Giants have probably gotten is if moving the game to Monday increases the chances that Favre will play.
