Whats up guys, help me settle a bet with a friend of mine. Need some opinions here. Lets assume that you are the GM of the Jets and you are starting from scratch and drafting a QB...what would your big board look like? Thanks.
1. Brady 2. Manning 3. Brees 4. Rivers 5. Vick 6. Roethlisberger 7. Rodgers 8. Ryan 9. Orton 10. Flacco 11. E. Manning 12. Schaub 13. Cutler 14. Freeman 15. Bradford
1. Philip Rivers 2. Tom Brady 3. Drew Brees 4. Peyton Manning 5. Matt Ryan 6. Aaron Rodgers 7. Matt Schaub 8. Kyle Orton 9. Matthew Stafford 10. Michael Vick 11. Jay Cutler 12. Ben Roethlisberger 13. Joe Flacco 14. Josh Freeman 15. Mark Sanchez
Stafford, who can't stay healthy for 3 games straight over Vick, Rapelisberger and Flacco? Interesting.
1 Aaron Rodgers 2 Phillip Rivers 3 Matt Ryan 4 Michael Vick 5 Peyton Manning 6 Tom Brady 7 Drew Brees 8 Sam Bradford 9 Mark Sanchez 10 Josh Freeman 11 Joe Flacco 12 Mathew Stafford 13 Colt McCoy 14 Jay Cutler 15 Matt Schaub of course obviously I'm considering the future so I went alot on potential rather that listing the top 15 today
off all the lists made so far, he is at worst #8. I wouldnt call that seriously underating anyone. Unless you are putting Manning/Brady in that spot, you could argue endlessly who the next teir behind them is. my list 1. Rodgers 2. Rivers 3. Manning 4. Brees 5. Vick 6. Ryan 7. Brady 8. Roethlisberger 9. Bradford 10. Sanchez 11. Flacco 12. Freeman 13. Cutler 14. Orton 15. Schaub Note: If I am starting a team tomorrow, I prefer a Qb who is going to be around the better part of a decade. Peyton and Brady are the best in the game today, but how much longer can they play at that level? I have no idea since they are both on the wrong side of 30.
I think everyone is overrating Vick. He's had a good year but if he's in the top 25% of QB's, it's barely.
If I'm drafting to start a new franchise: 1 Ryan 2 Rodgers 3 Flacco 4 Bradford 5 Roethlisberger 6 Sanchez 7 Stafford 8 Freeman 9 Cutler 10 Rivers 11 Brady 12 Manning 13 Brees 14 Schaub 15 McCoy
I think Manning and Brady both have at least another 4 or 5 years in them, so they would still be at the head of my class.
Man, I think the young guys like Bradford, Stafford, and Freeman are being vastly overrated compared to some of the veterans that have had consistent 90+ ratings for some time.
1. Tom Brady 2. Ben Roethlisberger 3. Matt Ryan 4. Philip Rivers 5. Drew Brees 5. Peyton Manning 6. Aaron Rodgers 7. Jay Cutler 8. Michael Vick 9. Eli Manning 9. Mark Sanchez 10. Matt Schaub 11. Kyle Orton 12. Sam Bradford 13. Joe Flacco 14. Cam Newton 15. Andrew Luck FTR, Peyton Manning is a definite Hall of Famer and one of the best QBs of all-time, but he's starting to decline. I still can't keep him out of the top five though.
1. Aaron Rodgers 2. Philip Rivers 3. Matt Ryan 4. Ben Roethlisberger 5. Sam Bradford 6. Mark Sanchez 7. Josh Freeman 8. Tom Brady 9. Peyton Manning 10. Michael Vick 11. Jay Cutler 12. Drew Brees 13. Joe Flacco 14. Eli Manning 15. Matt Stafford
Let me guess, your buddy said Romo isn't a top 15 QB and you said, I'll bet everyone else thinks he is?
I can work with that... 1 Aaron Rodgers 2 Phillip Rivers 3 Matt Ryan 4 Tom Brady 5 Peyton Manning 6 Drew Brees 7 Sam Bradford 8 Mark Sanchez 9 Michael Vick 10 Joe Flacco 11 Mathew Stafford 12 Josh Freeman 13 Colt McCoy 14 Jay Cutler 15 Matt Schaub
