I've walked over tougher guys than Rex Ryan on my way to fights.

From an analytical standpoint you can't ignore the game. It is important they correct the mistakes of last week. Unless, Rex is reinventing the whole team and we'll see broad changes.

The most alarming part of that analysis to me was that the Pats kept bringing a safety into the box and "guessing right" at where to go. That isn't a guess when they keep getting it right.

Either they were tipping there hand somehow or the Pats had another way of "guessing right".

The next time we play in Foxboro we need to figure out a creative way to communicate our play calls on both sides of the ball. At least that would eliminate one of the possibilities. FTR, this is just me being paranoid, I'm not making any accusations.

cue jonnyd saying this is a retarded, gay post.

"Darrelle Revis’ performance sums up exactly why his reported $16m a year demands in the offseason were so unrealistic. Revis usually matched up with Wes Welker and gave up just one catch, on a play where he was blatantly picked by the slot receiver. Welker still had seven catches though, with the other six coming when he was covered by other people. A team can mitigate the impact of a shutdown corner by more or less going ten-on-ten, especially if the other team’s secondary depth is questionable, which is almost inevitable if you spend that much money on one guy."

A plausible point on the face of it, but that in effect assumes the rest of the secondary is playing in direct relation to their pay. I think some of those guys are playing at a rate where minimum wage would be too much.

    Does Woodhead explain that?

I wonder. As you imply, we can't assume the Pats were not cheating. It's not like they have never done so.

Not much of a thread starter but I have to tell you....I was going to start a thread about this very thing.

Something is going on here...AND IM NOT GOING DOWN THE ROAD THE PATS CHEATED.

I noticed the last game against the Bengals...and it might have been before that, they too were lining up correctly to our run schemes. Im telling you...there is something to this. I have no idea what it is or how teams would know a run or pass formation but teams are reading when we are going to run the ball even when we are 3 receiver and 1 tight end sets.

Sounds paranoid...but something is being tipped off. Klecko said it during the post game show that the Pats knew what we were doing on every play but pushed it off as being too conservative.

Which leads me to my next bitch about the offense...why the hell isnt schotty calling the game from upstairs????

The best woodhead could do is give them a copy of our playbook. That wouldn't tell them what play is being called.

3 days till the Phins arrive and we're still talking Pats.

Can we bury the ball here at TGG too?

"With Hartline expected to miss at least the next game or two after reportedly undergoing a surgical procedure on his hand Tuesday after he left Sunday’s game early in the second half, the return of Marshall would shore up a receiving corps badly in need of help. If Marshall and Hartline are both out, Miami would be left with Davone Bess and rookies Marlon Moore and Roberto Wallace at the position."

Wow, that would be something huh?

I've posted this analysis from TJB for every game this season. If you don't like it, don't read it.
