I really liked the show but didn't like the ending so much. At least this show gets a second season and we can see this story unfold for a at least a few more seasons. My favorite new show got whacked big time, oh well........I knew that was coming, it was my fault for watching it......
Best show on TV...As proven with the ratings and just as I mentioned before...The human emotion thrives here like it did with shows like LOST. Im sure those guys that wanted to stay the CDC in the comics would have not been cared about as much as people care about them in the show. I was getting dissapointed that the old man and blonde chick wanted to stay there. I cant wait to see season 2...In the meantime, I FUCKING CANT WAIT FOR THE SPRING and GAME OF THRONES!
I agree that the finale was probably the worst episode so far. I was really hoping to see the black dude and his son sometime again during the season. He was probably the best actor in the show so far, and he was only there for 30 minutes.
I can't see how anyone that likes walking dead flicks could have liked this piece of shit show. It was a soap opera with zombies.
Missed this, Terriers. It was the best new show last year and had no viewership........ Second watching the Walking Dead and it was meh...... the last few episodes, were not up to the quality of the first few.
The show felt rushed towards the end of the first season. I still enjoyed it. ...definitely the weakest of all the AMC shows though.
As much a I am enjoying The Killing, I have a feeling the second season of The Walking Dead will deliver. AMC wins either way.
They need to add more damn episodes though, season one was too short. It was like getting a b-jay from a chick and just when she starts to get going she stops and tells you that she will be back next week.
The first clip released for season 2 -- Rick being a bad-ass. http://io9.com/5822103/first-ever-clip-from-the-second-season-of-walking-dead
It's definitely October according to numerous sources, and I think Halloween would be the obvious choice, so I'll agree with this.
So I guess it's worth getting into this show? I'd only have 6 episodes to catch up on....I didn't want to read the thread because of spoilers.
Watch the first 3, then read a synopsis of the last 3. It will save 2 3/4 hours you would never get back. Not a fan of the last 3 by any stretch but the show started out at a high level and only went down, way down. If you want to watch an AMC show, catch up on Breaking Bad. It is so much better, it isn't even worth comparing.
