    I'm of the same opinion.

The guy is a 1st round pick....anybody outside of Gholston would've made some kind of impact by now.

The Ghost has more impact than Kylie Minogue.

The kid's head, and preparation has been completely been fucked with.

We have been over this 1000000times.

Kyle Wilson drafted. He thinks to himself "Number 1 defense, number 1 pass defense 2009. I will learn slot from DARRELLE REVIS, and ANTONIO CROMARTIE. This is amazing."

    Darrelle Revis holds out.

Kyle Wilson "Okay I gotta learn #2 NFL CB. I got this."
Plays very well in preseason. All I saw was people catching 5-8 yard passes on the kid, and boom Wilson is there in .1seconds to bring the WR down.

Darrelle Revis comes back before Week 1.

Kyle Wilson "Oh okay. Now back to the slot."

    Week 1.
Kyle Wilson "Uh why are you not covering Boldin Revis????????????????"

Week 2 Revis hurt out for weeks.

Kyle Wilson "Wtf?" Kid has his role changed several times...back in forth...back in forth.

We see Wilson have some struggles, and he loses his job. Yes he didn't play well, but kid is being thrown all over the place.

Loses job. Revis back. Mid of season, and now the kid has to adjust while everybody is already playing NFL midseason football.

That seems really easy for a rookie cornerback to adjust to.

It's very disheartening to see Wilson glued to the bench. They don't trust him at all, not even as a punt returner anymore.. he opened this season expected to be a starter. Then Revis came back and it was supposed to be him in the nickel all year. Then he got bumped out by Drew Coleman (!!!) and Lowery.

It would be one thing if cornerback was the kind of position where only 2 guys can play at a time and he was behind Revis and Cromartie. But it's not. Corner is a position of need on this team, where we always have 3 or 4 out there, and he can't even beat out bums like Coleman to get on the field. And to add to the overall crappyness, in the offseason he's putting the team in a bad spot where they are forced to bring back Cromartie because he can't be relied upon.

Some guys develop faster than others, he'll be a contributor for this team in the near future. I wouldn't give up on him.

I'm certainly not giving up on him.....but i wouldn't mind seeing him make a meaningful play at some point.

He is getting playing time now....he practices during the week.........he should show us something on game day, don't you agree?

Seriously, if you think Wilson being the 2nd, 3rd or 4th corner has an affect on his performance, then you are nuts. He's a corner and he'd be put up against a WR no matter what. That is pretty dumb to think. Each week he'd be facing different WRs, does that mess with his head too?

Oh, and if you're right, then Wilson seriously needs to grow a pair.

As the season goes on this draft does look pretty bad, I hope it will improve over time but I didn't expect that much anyway.

We had a limited amount of picks and due to our successful 09 season we had a late pick. I'm glad we don't suck every year Rams/Lions so we can draft #1 or #2 every year.

Our last great draft came after a 4-12 season, whatever happened to Titus Adams anyway?? lol

Keeping McKnight over Woodhead was a mistake.

Check back in 3 years and we'll see.

Woodhead is not a rookie, that said, Woodhead was not meant to be gone they were going to sign him back the following week.

We needed extra depth because of Revis.

No way McKnight could function in the Pats offense. He doesn't have that Woodhead magic.

Anyone honestly believing the Jets let the Pats win as some sort of sandbag to set themselves up for the playoff is out of there minds.

Im sure we would all kill to have McCourtey or Haden about right now. Just horrible luck in this draft....

These are some of the same excuses we were giving Gholston his rookie year too. Kdub just looks really bad, he looks like he is made for the NCAA, not the NFL.

You just look at the top three CB's taken in the draft:

    Haden, McCourty, and Wilson...

Wilson is the only CB with horrible size for the position, he just gets thrown around like a rag doll out there. He is way to small, and unfortunatly his speed isn't translating very well yet either. He doesn't have anything going for him at the moment.

Haden and McCourty actually look and play the part. Wilson, not so much.
