I said that last night when I saw he got fired. How bad does Denver look. You dump Cutler. You dump Marshall. Then you don't support the coach you allowed to make those changes.
ABSO FN LUTELY! I would be on the phone with McDaniels RIGHT NOW! I could not think of a more perfect situation. This guy shit the bead so bad as a HC, that even with a ton of success as an OC, would take a very long time to become HC again. Schitthead on the other hand, for reasons unconceivable to me, is always discussed as a HC candidate. McDaniels took an offense with zero talent, and turned them into a pretty potent offense.
Seattle, two years ago. Small undersized defense....Bad Weather, injured QB. Do we go in and pound on them...no.
Gotta agree on Rex. He looked like a complete amateur last night. I know he's a lot better than that, but last night he could have just as well been coaching that game from the west coast.
With ALOT less talent. That's the crime here. Look at the across the board offensive talent on this team.... Holmes, Edwards? Tomlinson....Greene? Keller? The fact that we don't score 40 a game, even with a second year QB is scheme. Period. We aren't losing for a lack of talent on the field.
You don't think an Offense that has played 3 games in which it scored ZERO TDs has anything to do with the OC? And it's an Offense with LT, Greene, Holmes, Edwards, Cotchery and a solid OL.
Jets: Points for 267 Denver: Points for 256 Jets have been playing the garbage of the NFL for several weeks now. Lets have: Holmes Edwards Cotchery Smith LDT Keller Supposedly a top 5 Offensive line. Tell me what Denver has that can even compare to what the Jets have?? And before you start raving about Orton, remember what he was with the Bears. McDaniels turned Orton into what he is. As he did with Cassel.
Schotty sucked, Rex sucked, Sanchez sucked, the line sucked, the WR's sucked, the running backs were ok, the rest of the team sucked too. Nobody escaped blame for last night. I assume more blame than is necessary is being laid at Schotty's feet but that's the way things go after a game like last night. All I will say is the performance last night cannot be blamed on any one person more than any other. Everyone from Rex right down the line sucked last night.
I also believe that after a game like that you need to make a change, someone needs to be the goat. This is the first time in the rex error the d took a complete shit while this happens to the O far too many times. McDaniels NOW please
Is it really unnecessary? In 13 weeks, the Offense has scored zero TDs in 3 games. I think it's starting to become necessary.
I think that is partly true, BUT, keep in mind Belicheck has tried to keep the same offensive philosophy in since he got there. Remember, the Pats had an incredible season with Cassel as QB.
Wrong. The last thing you do is bring in a new O.C. with a totally different system/terminology etc. You can hate Schotty for the rest of the year and celebrate the day the he leaves during the off season but for the rest of this year he is who we are going with. You don't blow up the season sitting at 9-3 with a wild card slot all but locked up.
we pounded them the first series right up their assholes and that homo Mangini didnt go for it on 4th on short on the fuckin 2 yard line and then the game went to shitbag after that
This is what's getting overlooked. It's the first time in 2 seasons the D has been flatout dominated; it's definitely not the first time the O has been dominated, and it's the third time the O has been held without a TD in just this season. How is that acceptable?
Its not. Promote Bill C or get Mcdaniels in here. Schotty is done with me. I no longer have patience.
