Could the D be that bad last night because of Leonhard being gone? Thats the only main difference in the D. I realize the Pats are good, but 45 points? I dont buy it.

Absolutely not, they toeched us last year in NE and Leonhard played. We have been having communication issues in the secondary all year and we have been getting beat by Rbs and TEs out of the backfield all year.

    Jim was our Troy Polamalu...

Pittsburg D sucks when Polamalu isn't there to call the plays and make them.

I reallly hope he can recover 100% and come back next year.

The only play Jimmy would likely have been able to affect was that atrocious PI that eric smith comitted. Other than that, Smith played pretty well, but clearly there were issues everywhere in coverage over the middle.

Please. Comparing Leonhard to Polumalu is a complete joke.

Everybody on the planet knew exactly what NE would do and still I saw Poole on Welker more times than not. That has nothing to do with Leonhard or mis-communication or anything else. It is all on Ryan and the people he chooses to call the defensive plays this year. Oh, and what contributions did our billion dollar CBs make? One last thing, Scott should be suspended for his shit...btw, what exactly has he done for this team anyway?

Please stop, he's a good player. Our D was overrated w/ him and is overrated w/o him. he is not the difference maker.

+1, comparing the two is like comparing Jerry Rice to Keyshawn Johnson. Leonhard is a solid player, but no Polomalu.

I don't think he was comparing Leonhard's skill set to Polomalu just the fact he's the defense QB like Polomalu....

That being said I don't think Leonhard would have made nearly the impact people are hyping him to have made. The defense was exposed horribly and people are looking for excuses.

More like comparing Rice to Cotchery. key was a top WR in the league for us, leonhard/Cotch are solid starters.
