This is the worst loss I've seen in all my years as a jets fan. All the hype, all the talking, the 9-2 record, etc ... ughhh!
You hit the nail on the head. They got everybody's hopes up, had a whole mess of time to prepare for a pivotal game like this, and come out and just completely embarrass themselves and their fans... This is without a doubt the most gutless performance I have seen in many years of following this team.
They'll rebound. After all the close wins, this team might have needed to get its asses kicked and might've needed the reality check. Hopefully they just come back better and stronger.
This is THE question, heading into the home stretch. Both the Patriots and the Jets have tough games coming up. The division is still well within reach, but there's no room for error. Not in this division. This isn't one of the western divisions, where 8 wins could actually win it.
I'm not trying to be a dick, but why would a good team "need" to get its asses kicked? Don't good teams avoid getting their asses kicked?
The fake spike was a lot worse. That's something the franchise didn't rebound from for a long time. As of right now, this was just a bad loss. End of fucking story. We get to see what Rex has...his ability, and if his team believes in him.
