How is it that the Pittsburgh Steelers can pull one out of their ass like they did last night against the Ravens, and nobody is calling them "lucky"? I mean, they were dead in the water. All Flacco had to do was protect the ball and the game is over. Or the New Orleans Saints the last 2 weeks? It seems only the Jets are "lucky". I hope we kick their ass tonight 31-17, but I'll also take "lucky", as long as we win.
What was lucky about the Steelers win last night? They made the plays to win. Just like our wins weren't lucky, despite what the assholes say, neither was Pittsburgh's last night. Last week against Buffalo is a completely different story.
Yea I don't think that was luck. It was stupid of the Ravens to not change there protection when Polumalu creeped up to the LOS, but they made a big time play during crunch time.
being called lucky doesn't bother me....as long as we keep on winning. The naysayers can all eat shit sandwiches.
omg if the ravens ran they would of won!!! what a dumb ass mistake!!! the steelerzzz so lucky!!! oh wait they arent the jets oh shit miami game they so lucky1111 oh wait they arent the jets.
"Dey gawt luckee!!!!!" To be honest, most respectable analysts and hosts rarely drop the word lucky...the only one that uses that word the most is the whale himself...FATCESSA. However he only uses that word with the Jets and no one else, so we all know the Steelers lucked out, but don't expect to hear that anywhere else.
i love this line from Peter King today about the Saints last two wins: Last week, it was Saints defensive back Malcolm Jenkins chasing after and stripping Dallas wide receiver Roy Williams that led to the Saints' 30-27 victory in Dallas. This week, it was Brees drawing a gullible lineman offside that led to the Saints' 34-30 victory in Cincinnati. That's how good teams play, and win.
ESPN said this about the Saints victory: "The Saints had a great, GREAT Victory yesterday" I Mean wtf?!?!? are you serious.
