There was also that play in 2001 @ Buffalo where Patten fumbles in overtime but it's ruled that his head was out of bounds. Pats keep possession and kick a FG to win it. Without that win they probably miss the playoffs all together.

The Pats were annoying as fuck to watch that year.

Luck: Kicking a Game winning FG that hits both uprights and falls in

Not Luck: Playing vs teams who make dumb fukin decisions that give us the extra opportunity to make GAME WINNING PLAYS.

    That's the difference.

Rodney Harrison picked us to lose and so did dung beetle. Couldn't be a worse pair of analysts teamed together in general

On a side note, it's hilarious how no one considers the falcons lucky and say they're w clutch and gritty team.
The chip shot missed by the saints at the ene of regulation, the Nate clements interception that got stripped at the 1 yard line, the no call on the roddy white pushoff against the ravens and horrible facemask penalty on Suggs.

That team has basically squeaked out every victory. Including both games against tampa

I won't call atlanta lucky for anything other than the missed FG. They have done exactly what we have, wait until the other team makes a mistake, and then they capitalize on it. Sure it hasnt been pretty, but they have won their battles when it matters most, and they damn sure won't be apologizing for winning games.

It's the same thing we are doing, if we don't want to be called 'lucky' then don't call the falcons 'lucky'

    no, that's my fuckin point.

i'm saying they are doing the same things we're doing more or less, but while we're "lucky", everyone is licking their balls.

Even that flack Perrera said that the interception should have been overturned since he did not maintain possession. The ball was clearly out. Hey I am no TB fan, but Atlanta was totally lucky there. All the momentum was on TB's side.

Course that throw should not have been made, but it was not a valid interception.

When something beyond your control works out in your favor, that sounds like luck to me. That being said, the jets deserve credit for taking advantage of those opportunities by following up with defensive plays and offensive TDs.

You must work for MSNBC. Where else would you learn to take comments out of context?

heh - did you notice how quickly he backtracked and reexplained the situation after the call turned out differently than he said it should have? Oh well, if you look right here it LOOKS like the ball is loose but there's really not enough evidence and that's what the ref just explained.

Oh yeah, he's a total whore. As if he didn't know the standard for reviewing a call on the field until after the refs did not reverse the call.

The fact is the refs blew it. I understand one angle showed nothing, but the other one showed the ball hit the ground without being in the player's hands beforehand. That was not a catch.

    Perrera has no cred.

Well, so much for any sign of intelligent life. By all means, print it out and take a dump on it. Then show it to all your 7th grade friends. They'll all be impressed.

How is stripping the ball luck?

How is a obvious PI call luck?

How is Mark Sanchez driving down the field in amazing fashion for the game winning drive luck?

So was getting Brady to commit 3 turnovers luck or what is that considered?

It's obvious Jet hate, when the Pats or Colts do it, it's a great comeback because good teams find a way to win. Since everyone else hates Rex for his brash talk, it's luck.

The conversation is pretty lame at this point.
