    Jets clinch a playoff spot in the following scenarios:

    Case 1
    Jets beat the Patriots, and
    Titans beat the Colts

    Case 2
    Jets beat the Patriots, and
    Raiders beat the Jaguars

    Case 3
    Jets beat the Patriots, and
    Jets beat the Dolphins

    Case 4
    Jets beat the Dolphins, and
    Titans beat the Colts, and
    Chiefs beat the Chargers

    Case 5
    Jets beat the Dolphins, and
    Raiders beat the Jaguars, and
    Chiefs beat the Chargers

    So basically the only way we dont make the playoffs is if we turn back into the SOJ!

    Unless im missing something, if we beat the Patriots we clinch the playoffs PERIOD.

    If the Colts win out and we lost out our conference records would = each other.

    Then it comes down to common games played. And guess what we beat the Texans/Patriots (2x) Denver Cinci.

    Colts lost to pats/texans (once) and beat denver cinci.

    Tie breaker goes to us.

    Tie breaker with the Chargers for common games also goes to us.

    The only team who MIGHT be able to beat us is the Raiders and that means theyd have to win out and beat us in
    # Strength of victory.
    # Strength of schedule.

    (hmm only scenario I didnt actually check is what happens if the Colts end up winning their division, then the Jags end up tying us @ 10 wins. But im too lazy to look into that)

    Pittsburgh wins!

    So this at least knocks the Ravens down a game. Not sure how it will affect the playoff picture ultimately, but it's a good thing for us if we can beat Pittsburgh next week.

    Oh yeah that's right. Guess I was looking past them till we play an actual NFL football team. You're right, I guess we'll just show up get our win and head to Pittsburgh.
