Even when going 4 wide, which is rare, you'd have to think BE,SH, JC and DK will be out there, with Tomlinson in the backfield. The only thing I can think of is that JC is more shaky then we thought.
Because NE's secondary is complete horseshit and in case JCo can't go the entire game, we have WRs at our disposal to attack with... Maybe?
call me crazy, but I am going to go out on a limb and say the team knows alot of things we don't know. just a hunch.
Additional resource given we're likely to see a receiver returning kicks and punts now Leonhard is gone, and additional insurance against said receiver getting hurt on one of those plays?
Maybe they plan to use Brad Smith in the secondary a little a la Troy Brown. Rex did mention he wouldn't be scared to do that in the post game press conference after his big game a couple of weeks ago.
Brad Smith is not going to be used in the secondary. Even if he did, he wouldn't be in enough to cause them to sign Coles because of this reason. Lowery is back, and McKnight is the first emergency secondary player.
Still don't know why Laveranues is pronounced La-ver-neus. Should be pronounced La-ver-a-news. Why the confusion?
Motivational, I don't see him playing. Lol watch him be a Captain and promptly retire after the game. Rex loves making strategic players Captains for a game.
