Considering Leonhard has been playing the FS role that Rhodes had, your buddy doesn't know what he's talking about.

Rex Ryan's press conference shows how much missing Jimmy is huge for us!

Rex Ryan just said that it would be Eric Smith calling plays!

Holmes + Cromartie in the backfield together on punts sounds lethal.

With the way everyone is reacting, we may not need a punt returner because NE will score on every possession.

Ummmm...has anyone ever considered making Kyle Wislon a running back? Even great kick returners don't force half as many missed tackles as he does in those clips. That man has the vision for that position. Make McKnight a corner and Wilson a halfback..stroke of genius!

Not to down play an injury as I like Leonhard very much, hes a team leader and smart player, but is it really THAT big of a loss?

I'm no expert, but in recent weeks It appears to me that teams have been targeting Leonhard because he's too small. Houston and Cleveland games come to mind. He always makes smart plays and makes up for his size disadvantage with his intangibles but I can just see Brady targeting his big TE's all game against Leonhard. Perhaps its a good thing we have Smith who I feel really isnt much of a dropoff if any.

that being said injuries are no fun and I hope Leonhard has a speedy recovery I feel for the guy.

Sadly you may be correct in this assumption.

Yeah Rex just said he's the smartest player he's ever coached, but I want to see him in game action calling plays.

If he was so great he'd be starting, he just lost his starting role to Pool.

You know me by now I'm as optimistic as they come so like losing Jenks, and Revis being out I think our team will pull together.

I think Lowery and/or Dig is going to step up big time.

Smith lost his starting job because he was constantly getting burned by TE's.
I hate so sound like a broken record, I hope Lowery gets a lot of time too.

it sucks that it happened in practice, bad timing and luck.

but who gives a shit. plug and play. Leonard isn't an all pro safety, not even a pro bowl safety.

injury wise we're still better than most teams out there.

and vilmalover should either be banned for making an excessive amount of stupid comments or being a complete failure at being funny. And also, a gay name

Solid player on defense, but he'll be missed more on PRs because of his sure hands. We don't need any bobbled/fumbled balls on Monday night.
