ESPN Drops Jets Outside Top 3 Despite Another Win Despite how well the New York Jets have been playing, ESPN does not support how great their team has been. Other sports networks, such as FOX and CBS, respect the Jets because the Jets have been playing well and winning games. The season is not over yet and the Jets still have to tackle through four more regular season games, and then hopefully the playoffs. I believe that at the end of the season the New York Jets will win the 2010 Superbowl.
I love the way the JETS beat Cleveland In Cleveland but "Got Lucky" or "Escaped" yet, The Pats got romped and it totally gets dismissed in any type of head to head talk... fuk it. I wanna be ranked lower!
And seriously this threads retarded. They say the Jets are the 3rd best team in the nfl behind only the Falcons and Patriots. And considering what the Falcons and Pats have done recently its hard to call that unreasonable. Oh and not to mention they had us @ NUMBER 1 LAST FRICKEN WEEK. Over rated by whom? I don't think anyone thinks the Jets are perfect. Shit look at some of the power rankings and some of the so called experts have the Jets at 5-6 best team in the league. I think even Pittsburgh is getting dinged for not beating the Bills by 50,000. Power Rankings are nothing more than pure mental masturbation......No reason to get the panties in a wad.
The thread was COMPLETELY misleading. Saying the Jets are a little overrated and are the 3rd best team in the nfl and not the #1 best team =/= "The Jets are overated" The thing you commented on said we were the 3rd best team in the nfl.

Who cares? Really? This is not the BCS. The NFL settles things on the field, with real live games and a playoff leading to a champion. Power rankings are completely and utterly meaningless. If anything, I prefer that the Jets continue too be ranked lower and be underestimated. I think it is motivation if the world thinks they are lucky and not as good as their record.
I don't get why people even care about this stuff. Power rankings are useless and a waste of time. I guess it gets people talking during the week and keeps the NFL in the news but none of them have any credibility as they are just opinion pieces. The front page of this site lends unnecessary credence to them as every week you see a piece on this useless drivel.
