You know, it's sad that Francesa understands the Woodhead situation more than a lot of Jet fans here.
Its funny how he criticizes the Jets, then picks them on Friday. he also said yesterday to a caller who is a Dolphins fan that he thinks the that the Jets will make the playoffs. Then he is constantly getting information wrong ie the injuries that were mentioned above Cotch (2 Weeks) Jenkins (Played 5 plays) Revis (missed a few games and was never 100% till GB Pace (4 games) That is 3 Defensive starters they were without at some point this year and several of them together which also includes a couple Pro Bowlers. I also think the fact that the Jets aren't really saying anything to the media this week about the game is hurting Francessa as well. All Ive heard was this is the marquee game of the year, and that Beliceck is a better coach from Rex and a player.
TE's are going to kill them... Do we not have a Defensive coordinator and staff game planning for the game? I guess not. They are going to just do what they have been doing for the last 11 weeks.
Of course he thinks the Jets will make the playoffs, nobody thinks the Jets are gonna miss the playoffs at 9-2. This team is not the 08 team.

I don't think Mike is as bad as most Mets/Jets fans think he is. He is a blow hard,but he makes good points. The blitz is the biggest one IMO. We need to change what we do or when we do it. Maybe go to a zone Blitz, I don't know, but teams are too prepared for the 3rd down blitz. I don't want to watch the Pats slots and Tightends gash the middle of the field, hopefully Lowery/Wilson/Coleman come up big some how.

He said something akin to the rookie (Kyle Wilson) has been eaten alive this season. I think he meant to say Drew Coleman because 1. Wilson has hardly played and 2. When he has played he's stuck right with the opposing receivers.

I don't necessarily think that's true. I know Rex Mangold and Sanchez get paid by 1050 to do their weekly spots. Which means there might be something in the contract that says no live appearances on the competitor. The other players probably just don't go on his stupid fucking show. I can't wait until what ace o spades said happens. The giants miss the playoffs and no jets go on the show and Mike has to talk about Knicks.

Well I don't know much about radio contracts (and when I say much I mean 0) but wouldn't that deal have to include WFAN altogether? Cotchery is on with Joe and Evan every Monday, no?
This season on the FAN I have heard: Sanchez (With Boomer and Carton) Bart Scott (Joe and Evan) Brad Smith (Joe and Evan) Cotchery (weekly with Joe and Evan) and Mangold on the Friday the day after Thanksgiving with whoever filled in for Joe and Evan. Mike is a liar. There's nothing stopping anyone from going on his show, other than his own bitter, biased, hateful view of Rex, Tanny, Woody, and Bart Scott.
