Cakes says Zeke is a crappy troll. Cakes says trolls should try harder. Mom and penis jokes just aren't cutting it.
Everything is in front of the Jets in this game. The Pats entire offense is in front of us. They can't beat us deep, they don't have Moss, so it's like not even a contest is it? When you can't go deep you become what the Jets were when Chad was here. You get defenses stacking the box and coming at you with 61,000 blitz packages. Brady is gonna get so smashed and bashed in this game... the boy is gonna feel like a landscaper with all the grass he's gonna see close up.
I don't have a single problem providing Zeke's email address to anyone who wants it. Although, I'd have to run that by Petrozza first, of course. Thanks for your contributions, j _ _ _.h _ l _ _ w _ _@yahoo.com
Pats offense is 14th in passing yards, yet # 1 in points scored Pats are 18th in rushing yards yet Green Ellis is 3rd in rushing TD's Pats have Brady, who has been there and done that a whole lot of times, and done it well Welker, Woodhead, Branch, and 2 incredible rookie tight ends in Gronkowski & Hernandez round out the offensive weapons (Tate would be good if he could actually catch) and enough of a running game to keep defenses honest and respecting play-action On Defense Secondary is porous...... have given up 266 pts..... 22nd in league....yet 4th in INT's at 15 with 3 TD's (Jets have given up 187 points....3rd place.... 28th at INT's with 7 for 1TD) Point differential is just over 7 points per game. Not a huge deal, they allow more, but score more & they get more turnovers The Pats don't lose at home & the Jets don't lose on the road. However, the Pats home win streak far exceeds the Jets away record. If the Pats win THIS game, it will give them the best home team streak ever at 26 I think the Pats take it because it IS such a HUGE game and the Pats are at home with Brady at the helm. Sanchez could lose focus and be overwhelmed. We'll see. This is one MNF game I won't doze off on
You mean you didnt find tonights game to be edge of your seat exciting?A battle of two 3-7 bitter rivals on the road to nowhere.
Which means nothing against Revis and Cromartie. Brady couldn't get it done when Revis was pulled for injury in the 1st game, so how is he gonna do it now? Two runts, one good reciever nullified by Cromartie, and two rookies does not equal a victory. As we saw last time. Uh, excuse me... that 31st in the league. There are only 32 teams. This is not a good thing. You score more against certain teams, but not against the Jets. You have averaged 30.4 points per game, but only scored 14 against the Jets, which is less than half your usual output. Or do you really think you're going to put up 30 points against this defense? And that is your basic problem here, you need to score big to win... but you're not going to do it against this team. You won't win a game like that against the Jets. The Jets are the kings of cardiac 3 point finishes, and the Pats are not geared for that kind of defensive struggle. Your offense has been carrying the defense all season, which is fine if you can do it, but if the Jets limit your offense then you are going to lose. It's that simple.
When I've made some of my countless troll personas, I was required to use a non-free email! Rediculous! /sarcasm
Thank you... yardage statistics are hugely overrated in football. What matters most is whether you can generate points either by finishing off drives, or creating turnovers on the other team's side of the field (and of course preventing the other team from doing the same). Pats are #1 in scoring and tied for #2 in turnover differential. I recently saw the Jets red zone rankings... I forget what they are, but they are pretty bad offensively and defensively. This means that their yardage is 'underused' compared to other teams in the league.
I think the game's gonna go something like this: 1st half: - Jets will try to run, Pats will stuff it and force 2-3 punts - Pats offense will come out on fire, both run and pass - near end of half, Jets will start throwing more - Pats with a halftime lead of 17-6 3rd qtr: - Jets will get their offensive balance back - Pats will have a tougher time moving the ball - 17-13 after 3 4th qtr: - shootout, both defenses tire and offenses dominate - a turnover slows the Jets down, final around 31-27 NE.
This seems very reasonable except its the Jets destiny to win this year.Cmon how good of an America's game the 2010 Jets would it make!
It's hard to take football stats as a key factor when looking at individual games. But...just looking at this weeks NFL rankings: Pats have the worst team defense rankings in the AFC (Jets are second best). Jets rank above the Pats in team offense rankings.
