The O-line. It's been brutal for what we're used to the last few weeks. If they can give Sanchez time he'll be able to pick apart that pass defense.
Everyone needs to step up for us to win. But obviously you want the QB to step up more than anyone. No-brainer.
Not really. One of our DBs will get Welker. You shut him down, you shut Brady down unless we let one of their rookie TEs get 100 yards.
The offense should score on this team at will but we have put forth weak offensive efforts against Houston, Detroit, and cincy all teams with defenses at the bottom of the rankings like the pats d. I have faith our d will play well and think it's on our offense to put up some points and most importantly control the ball. We start putting up 3 and outs and giving the pats extra chances and field position then that's the only way that I see them putting up big points.
Sanchez/Schotty, and our pass rush. We need to get to that prettyboy faggot early and knock his block off and knock him on his ass.
Sanchez needs to defeat New England. They have the 32nd ranked Pass defense. Rape these fuckers again big time. Score TD's. No Field Goals.
Sanchez hasn't had two sub-par weeks in a row.... Game 1 he was off and the second week he came back to have a career day against the Pats. My first post here- a lonely Jets fan out in LA. Thanks all, great board here...
Glad to have you pick this board to contribute to, if you have any questions you can ask me, a moderator, or most of the consistent posters on this board. I see what your saying with the Sanchez thing and your right , my biggest concern is that the different schemes bellicheat might throw at him have fooled many, even Peyton.
I would say specifically the LB's in pass coverage. I don't think Brady will be able to pass the ball to the outside with Revis and Cro in coverage. Brady has been feasting on the middle of the field in the past games and he's used the TE's a lot. I also think the Jets will score points against a pretty weak NE defense so I don't think anyone specifically on the offense needs to step up.
I would say the defense needs to come out swinging in this game. The offense can just about do what they want against the Pats D, but it's important to get after Brady and put him down a few times.
One thing we have to watch for is the Slot WR , who ever lines up there all season has had there way with our secondary. If Brady spreads the field and hits the slot WR we are in for a long day. This is one thing we MUST stop.
Its all about the Offensive Line. If the O-line is good, the running game will succeed. Also, if the O-line is good, Sanchez will have time and not do some of the more questionable things he tends to do under pressure. Running game works well, the passing game will open up, and ultimately help Shotty in making good calls. The game is won and lost on the lines.
