HOUSTON -- Houston receiver Andre Johnson and Tennessee cornerback Cortland Finnegan were involved in a fistfight that got both players ejected in the fourth quarter Sunday. Finnegan hit Johnson in the mouth at the line of scrimmage and Johnson ripped off Finnegan's helmet. Johnson threw him to the ground as his helmet came off and them punched Finnegan at least twice in the head and face. The two had been pushing and jawing earlier in the game, and Johnson has called Finnegan's antics annoying in the past. Johnson was escorted off the field while Finnegan remained on it before the referees announced that both players were ejected. The Texans led 17-0 at the time of the ejections and won 20-0.
More players should start kicking the shit out of Finnegan... I'm just sad Johnson didn't hit him better.
I can't wait to see what Johnson gets for two punches to a prone player with no helmet. Not saying he was right or wrong, just thinking the punishment will be really steep.

Yeeeeaaaahhh Andre. Whooped Finnegan's ass something terrible. People are going to go overboard on their ideas for punishment, but I really don't think it'll be as bad as some might think. Finnegan clearly started it and has a history of instigation, while Andre has always been a model citizen and an overall great ambassador for the league. I think he gets one game and a big fine, and Finnegan gets about the same.
sorry guys i should have posted the video. thank you to those who did. it will be interesting. he was making quite a bit of contact with the ref who was pushing him away too. it was funny seeing 55 on houston hem finnegan up real quick with one hand. that guy is a real douche and deserves everything he gets. although the problem with people like him is that he feels as if he is right and that he won.
It's too bad AJ let Finnegan get to him like that. Finnegan is like a little yappy dog. It would be great if the NFL actually cracked down on all the dirty shit he pulls so players could just ignore him and let him make an ass of himself.
As much as everyone hates players like this, it's really a great asset to have on your team. He got under the best receiver in the games skin, and got him to loose his cool and get kicked out of the game. Finnegan shouldn't have even been ejected as he didn't throw a punch and initially should've just been flagged for illegal hands to the face. Similar to Sean Avery in hockey. Hate to play against him, love to have someone who frustrates your best players.
