60% of the time, the Jets will win, everytime....

  2. No doubt. Really, all New England birds of prey are superb, particularly the nocturnal types.

it will probably come down to a last minute 4th quarter mark sanchez drive.

  4. I'm pretty sure Jets fans would sign on for that right now, especially after what we've seen this season.

The truth is, we haven't played elite football in quite some time. If we start playing up to our talent level, we'll beat anybody.

What's worse is all the sports radio shows up here are constantly bashing the yanks and jets. Meanwhile I highly doubt there are promos on WFAN saying "Red Sox loooooooosssttttt HAHAHAHAHA"

Its all very juvenile. It's little brother syndrome with the Yanks and I have no idea why they constantly write off the Jets even though lately we generally split with them.

Spread will most likely be Pats -3

Vegas likes giving the home team 3 points.

    You overshot that a bit.

The Patriots only have a 5-game home winning streak. They lost a home game on January 10 of this year.

Isn't it 25 in the regular season?

Yes. Which is why it shouldn't count. I'll be the first to admit it. Kind of reminds me of the Colts' "win streak" last year that was interrupted by a first-round playoff loss.

Yes, the Patriots have won their last 25 regular season home games in which Brady was the starting QB. The other guy left out the "regular season" qualifier and he was off by one number.

Big whoop on that streak, though. It is kinda silly not to take into account the playoff game last season.

No statistical edge? How about the most important one? Brady = 105.8, Sanchez = 81.9 . How about points per game? NE 30.4, NYJ 24. Stats mean nothing.

Let's see... the Pats lost to the Jets by 2 TD's in Week 2 without Revis, Ellis, and Holmes but they are somehow now going to turn the whole thing around and beat the Jets with these players in the line up? Especially now that Holmes has several games under his belt and is turning into a playmaker? And now the Pats don't even have Moss to keep the Jets DB's honest... And you know how the Jets get up for playing the Pats right?

Not only are the Jets gonna win they are gonna SPANK the Pats for like 10 more points than before. The Pats just cannot hang with this team. The Jets have them completely outmatched in every aspect of the game. They just aren't the Pats of old anymore, and this Monday night game is gonna prove that once and for all.

It's only a matter of time until someone from patsfans.com brings up superbowl wins and a TGG'er counters with 27 Yankee championships

Well where was Brady in Week 2 then? He certainly had his chance with no Revis and no Ellis in the line up didn't he? If he thought it was hard last time just wait until that monday night game rolls around... he's gonna be seeing stars.

    Sanchez is obviously better.

Seriously though, obviously you guys take the edge in QB play.

I am pretty much just talking shit this week because I think both teams are the class of the NFL and it will be a great game. In a situation like this I don't see much reason for me to be pointing out how the game should be played because it is not going to go how anyone predicts it will. Division games are always wacky.
