  2. I really don't know where he would have learned how to do that. Just like his mentor, he didn't learn how to cover his tracks that well.

You guys do know that McDaniels refused to watch the tape and reported the guy who filmed it to the NFL himself, right?

hey im not here to say the pats didn't videotape. but the reality is that a lot of teams tried to gain the edge over the years. mcdaniels learned it from belichick who probably learned it from parcells.

No, the issue is that he did NOT report the guy who taped it.

He did refuse to watch it, but he still failed to follow proper protocol.

I have no concern about the jets beating the pats next week. I am just concerned about the pats in the playoffs, it is just really really hard to beat one team 3 times in a year.

Yeah the Pats have won some hard games against some good teams so it's not crazy. But the Jets have won some big games as well. I have no doubt that a number of "experts" will pick the Jets to win for next week.

Oh man, I'm more worried about them video taping us practice than actually the game itself on Monday Night!

    Lets do Jets-Patriots by units:
    Offensive Line: Jets
    Defensive Line: Jets
    Running backs: Jets
    Quarterbacks: Patriots
    Wide Receivers: Jets
    Tightends: Even
    Linebackers: Jets
    Secondary: Jets
    Special Teams: Jets

    Lets win this!

    They win TE.

We have Keller, they have 2 guys who produce and block just as well if not better.

Yeah, don't worry about it. You can't win them all. :) Want me to break down the Packers game by unit for ya?

I dunno, Keller is better than any they have plus we have good blocking TE's. Just cause they use theirs more doesn't mean they are better.

    So what if...

Say the Jets win the coin toss, I'm curious whether Jets will defer the ball first (like they almost always do) or receive first (to try to get a chance to strike early).

yeah and the 2001 st louis rams had an edge on the patriots in many categories too....

your flawed assumption is that each of the above categories are given equal weight. i would say QB is a huge area of emphasis because without a good QB it doesn't matter what the offensive line, TEs or WRs do. The jets are limited on offense because of sanchez. you need to learn the phrase "on any given sunday" b/c it don't matter what edges you have leading up to the game. it's how you play on sunday.

Uh no, we're limited on offense because of Schotty

which reminds me - the pats have belichick which is a huge edge for us in coaching against any team. this is why i think player/position match ups are stupid/ coaching is as much of a factor in a game as player talent.
