The Jets will run the ball successfully against this defense and they will pass the ball successfully too. I think LT and Greene have big games here. It's going to be very frustrating for Brady (you know that pout he gets when things don't go right? Well here it comes...). I just can't see any way for the Pats to win here. They have maybe a 20 percent punchers chance, but the odds of it are very low.

    Jets 28
    Pats 14

    Once again.

  2. Well, all we've been hearing about is how the Jets don't stand a chance, how the defenses are close to equal and the Pats have the best offense out there, and the Jets have one of the worst. We keep hearing it from Pats trolls.

This thread just shows that isn't the case.

But they lost to the Pats, spectacularly. They are not invincible.

For the sake of getting fucking hyped for this game I'm going to say that the OP is 110% fuckin right!! We are the superior team and will knock the snot out of them and their bandwagon jumping spotty hand on cock fans.

I mean come on, they lost 28-14 to the Jets and we were missing some very significant players. I mean we didn't have Holmes and we didn't have Revis! How can anyone think the Pats have even the slightest chance here??? They are gonna get destroyed...

  5. Now, now, some of these Pats fans have a point. Who have the Jets beaten? They've won nine games, and haven't beaten a single team that is really any good.

that's what i've been arguing. the jets beat the pats - a divisional game. besides that, the jets have not beaten ANYONE over .500.

  7. No, no. My point is the Jets haven't beaten ANYONE who is any good. No "besides" anything. The Jets have nine wins against nine soft opponents.

I'm pretty sure the fact that Brady hasn't lost in something like 24 str8 home games is quite a statistical advantage.

that's completely flawed logic. yeah you are getting a few good players back, but it's a TEAM game.

Well... I guess when you take a really good look at them they are a soft opponent. But hey, you've gotta play who's on your schedule right? You've gotta play the Bills and the Pats, those are the rules.

Oh come on yourself. Part of big 2nd half turnaround was because Brady kept forcing the ball to Moss and getting picked off. We know that's not going to happen next game. Their offense is completely different now. Some might say better. It was because of Sanchez rolling out and seeing players wide open. Ya think the Patriot might deal with that better this time? Do realize that while the Patriots D have given up huge gobs of yardage it was often after the Patriot had established a pretty sizable lead. Just the kind of yardage to skew any set of stats. A lead that the defense often helped create btw.

Maybe the Jets will just dominate the game on both sides of the ball but a Patriots victory is definitely possible. Very possible.

i agree, it's tough to beat the pats twice in the same year.

  14. I know, the Pats are a true team. They're a family. Everyone else just plays the game. The Pats believe. They play like a team of one.

It's flawed logic that the Jets improved their "team" with the addition of some top-flight players. The Pats will destroy them because the Pats are a family. All for one and one for all.

    You forgot a few stats...

Superbowls in the last decade: Pats 4 - Jets 0
    HOF QBs: Pats 1 - Jets 0
Brady - 26 wins in a row at home

    But we'll still win! :)

  16. Evidently, you are so dumb, you read prose as poorly as you read stats.

So, are you saying the Pats are a good team? And the Jets beat them?

Well it had to happen sometime, and this game sure looks like the one. The dynasty is over. This is the Jets time. Tom will have to accept that.

    rex.. rex is that you?

  19. Oh, and for the record. I didn't say the Pats were average. I said they were soft. That's worse than average.

If your point was that the Jets haven't beaten anyone, I merely agreed with you. Let's look at the list.

    Dolphins - soft
    Bills - awful
    Vikings - awful
    Lions - poor
    Texans - poor
    Bengals - poor
    Broncos - soft
    Pats - soft
    Browns - terrible

I don't know if I would have been able to take losing to any team on that list. I mean, seriously, who have these teams beaten? Who would lose to a team like the Browns?

  20. Nah. If it was, you would have already had videotape of me posting that.
