I hope Rex talks to his brother about the amoeba defense Cleveland used against the Pats : ) . Could be interesting to see if the Jets use that formation at all. Worked a bit against them wouldn't you say? I mean they have what 10 days to try a few plays with it? But if they don't, I'm not worried... a lot of people here seem worried about the Pats offense, but do we forget our Jets team (especially our D) is something to be afraid of? If I were a Pats fan I think I'd be a bit worried about the Jets D.
Sidenote, why does Boomer hate the Jets so much? I listen to Boomer in the morning until he starts bashing the Jets. Whta's up his ass?!?!
Not to defend BS, cause I have big problems with how he calls a game, but against Cincy Sanchez was awful. He killed at least 3 drives by missing open receivers. Here's to hoping he gets back on track next week.
Dark Jet fan days. Saw a lot less Jet jerseys in the city on those days. Ahh who cares.. plenty of room on the bandwagon
Very well. You would have been very lucky if you didn't find a fan with a brown paper bag on his head. (Say, I had one on with Just End The Season sign on the back of my head.)
Almost got him killed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36jMh_SiG4s Fast forward to the 2 minute mark of the video. Here's how I explained the background on an earlier thread. "Richie Kotite thought it was a good idea to have a marginal rookie left tackle, a converted defensive lineman who had never played offensive tackle before in a game, block Bruce Smith. McIver committed a false start, Bruce Smith claimed he never heard the whistle, and the rest is infamy. "Catch Hugh Douglas's comments about the infamous Everett McIver/Bruce Smith match-up that nearly got Esiason killed - 'Owww Boomer's dead. Is he dead? Oh my God, he killed Boomer!'"
Schotty Play Calling Man its tough to watch first half after watch patriots shoot to kill we call plays like bad smith on 2nd down up middle???????????? then the 3 and outs or 3rd and longs after two runs and the past sideways on 3rd and 9??? I think he is scared to play aggressive. The will not cut it against Pathetics....:hackett: Ground and Pound is becoming Ground and Dead Giveaway!
I do agree with Boomer with regards to the jets use of the wildcat this year. It has consistently been used at rhythm-breaking moments and usually only reaps 2 yards or so. It has de-railed several drives over the past 5 games
