Same Old (Loser) Jets Fan mentality right here. Shouldn't you be rooting for the rams or something?

our resident fans seem to have gone away while the new dopes who only show up for the next 10 days are here.

Remember, if you take the players off the field, the ball doesn't move and the Jets offense doesn't score.

If the NFL established "goin or throwin" on 4th down, you wouldn't need punters.

how am i an idiot? for saying the truth about the jets crummy offense? I'll repeat it again - the jets would have scored TWELVE points against the 2-9 bengals if it weren't for a kickoff return and end round by brad smith. you guys are worse than the jills fans - have absolutely no concept of what it's like to field a super bowl winning team. jets vaunted D gave up 20 points or more to teams like the broncos, houston and lions - all of whom are average offensively.

Stop being a troll and come up with some real facts.

That's like saying if so and so did not complete that 70 yard TD pass they would have 7 less points. In case you are forgetting, football is a three phase sport. Teams that can create points in all three areas are just as dangerous if not more so than ones that only score on offense. You can't "take plays away" and I hate those backwards arguments.

Take away all the points and the Jets didn't score at all.

Take away a few Viniatieri FGs and the Pats didn't win two super bowls. If Norwood's kick is not wide the Bills win a Super Bowl. If Dwight Clark doesn't catch that pass in the back of the endzone the Niners don't make the Super Bowl. On and on and on and on.

And before you start making fun of the Jets defense, keep in mind the Patriots D is much much worse. Only three times have teams not scored at least 20 points on NE. While the Jets are in the top five in least points per game allowed. But if using good offensive teams like the Broncos, Texans and Lions helps you feel better than go ahead with that. Those teams can move the ball, primarily through the air, and have most weeks.

lol what?? why don't we just throw away the punt we recovered and the TD catch by Holmes while we're at it? then we can say we only scored 5 points against the 2-9 Bengals or fuck it take away that safety by Trevor and the FG kick and we put up a big goose egg on them. you are right that proves we are not a good team.

Oh boy. This is going to be a long 10 days if this is what you are going to bring to the debate.

The Jets beat them by 2 touchdowns last time, and that was at home where the J's haven't played all that well this year. I think the Jets beat the Pats by about the same margin this time around.

Gordon I've been pulling for the Jets for a lifetime and I know only too well how we get ahead of ourselves. Getting to the Play-offs is our goal and from there who knows? With your disparaging response I peg you at a very young age. The maturation process of being a Jet fan will allow you, through time, to make informed insightful comments.

im not talking about the entire jets team struggling. of course special teams and gadget plays are part of the equation - im talking about the jets struggling offense. you guys want to say how much our D is struggling? - that's fine, i'll buy that. but our D has struggled against top offenses like pitt, baltimore and indy. on the other hand the jet offense has struggled against bad teams like the bengals.

Why do you assume our offense would have done nothing with the ball had those two TD's not happened? And why are you taking away the end around if your point is supposed to be that our offense is struggling? That was an offensive play.

I hope we score 7 end around TD's against the Pats so you can come back and tell us how our offense didn't do anything.

The "soft" part of the schedule isn't really over. The Pats defense is 4th worst in the AFC, they've let up 266 points (10 points less than the Bills). If that isn't "soft" tell me what is...

This is actually one of the easier defenses the Jets have faced this year. They suck with a capital "S".

I see, so if the QB doesn't throw a TD it doesn't count?

btw, just to remind you jets fans, the jets have only beaten 1 team with a record above .500 this year so your 9-2 record is inflated. just sayin'
