ok so i am kind of worried about how rex ryan deals with the time off. Last time we had a bye we came back with a brutal 9-0 defeat where really we had nothing going our way(drop passes, stupid penalties)
We have the momentum right now same as before the bye. I understand players are going to be motivated since we are playing the pats and stuff but hopefully this time off isn't going to be bad for us especially if we end up with the bye coming playoff time!!!

we just played 2 games in 5 days. i think giving the players 3 days off is much warranted. the cheats were given off til tuesday.

lol wtf? 3 days over thanksgiving dude. they will still have a week.

rex's philosophy has been that you need to rest player's bodies. He's right.

on sportcenter(i think) bellicheat said that his players were going to get a few days off as well "to spend time with the family"

I think that's a normal thing in the NFL after you play a thanksgiving game(or win one). It's not just Rex

We have guys who need the time off, Rex is trying to keep everyone healthy which is very important. Everyone knows how huge this game is, I bet alot of players will actually be watching tape and breaking down stuff even tho they have time off. Especially Sanchez if you watched any of his interviews.

I am not arguing with the fact that we should or shouldn't have time off I am concerned about how we bounce back from the time off!!!

It's a legit concern. Both of our losses were when the team had extra time to prepare and the players hadn't been in the swing of a normal work week. Obviously the players need to rest, but the CS needs to do a better job of having them ready to play after that. If they don't, having the #1 or #2 seed will be scary.

They'll be ready from the bell, this is vs. the Pats, in NE, for all the marbles.

They may not win but they will not sleepwalk like they did against GB.
