Wat happened on the kick? From where I was sitting it looked good but obviously it wasn't..was it wide left or wide right?
I won't say it but if they bring him in I won't be shocked. They need to at least try out some new kickers and there isn't much available.
Most worrying thing for me is how his kickoffs seem to be getting shorter by the week, obvioulsy not aware if it was windy last night but field position against the Pats will be crucial.
Im not sure what the gameplanning was exactly, so Im willing to give him that benefit of the doubt. What is disturbing is that Folk has been missing too many kicks lately. At that PAT, I just had this weird feeling he'd miss it. The moment it hit the upright, I was like "M***** F*****". Then I saw it slide past the other upright and I was like 'thank god, you got lucky there, Folk'. He has the leg and will make most of his kicks, but he needs to start showing much more consistency. Now is the time to pull his shit together.
Personally i think if any kicker can miss a PAT then they have some problems. He never seems to know if his kicks are going to hook or slice. This is going to sound weird but its the inconsistency of his misses that bothers me, like he really does not know whats going on and the mechanics are off and he misses. he had a warm up last night so should never had missed like the way he did.
Shouldn't be allowed, IMO should be a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Nothing sporting about it.
I've lost confidence in Folk. I think we'd be better off getting a new kicker. I hope I have to eat these words but I don't think I will. Go, Jets!
Folk has no confidence in himself.....his mind seems to be like scramble eggs.. can you imagine him in the playoffs... first :rofl: then I :sad:

Nah, its all part of the game IMO. Most kickers worth their salt :coughs: don't care about it and it costs the other team a timeout. Let them burn them.
I agree the short kickoffs are really going to put a strain on the D. Can you imagine what would happen if Brady is allowed to start the Pats' drives at the 40-50 yard line. He could turn the Jets-Pats game into an Arena Football game.. Also, when is the last time the Jets had a touchback. Right now we are ranked #22 for touchbacks in the league.... Also, I also agree that the guy right now has no confidence and cannot even make a simple PAT let alone a 40 yard FG. As the teams get tougher down the stretch, the games may come down to a clutch kick. Right now, there is no way that we can count on Folk to deliver a clutch FG (the only game winning FG he kicked was when he didn't even know he was kicking the game winning FG in OT) and if this team is not busy looking for another kicker, then it could be something that can come back and bite us in the ass. Get that POS FOLK OFF OF THE TEAM NOW BEFORE IT"S TOO LATE!!
