I really don't get it, unless your sitting in the bleachers. You follow the game and keep up with whats going on. For me, same at home as it is at a game. But I'm also full of JD, so its time to shut the F up (me)
No way in hell!! I grew up watching games at JETS stadium, I would'n't have it any other way. In fact I'd feel out of place watching a home game at home.
I go to every game, for as long as I can remember, and try not to ever leave early and encourage my section to get up and cheer on EVERY defensive play, not just third down. Having said that, for those of you that cant for whatever reason make the games, give us STH a little credit. Not only do we deal with the obvious weather, traffic etc, but we also have to deal with some of pretty terrible obnoxious opposing fans at times. I know you don't have that problem in the comfort of your own home. Anyway, I'll be there tomorrow, cheering as always, enjoying OUR team... LETS GO JETS!!
Yeah the I don't mind hearing complaints from other STH's or even frequent game goers. But people who aren't their 5 hours pre-game in the cold/wet or whatever weather it maybe complain about crowd noise is getting a little annoying. I've complained this year, but I'm their no matter what losing my voice every game. We need as many real Jet fans as we can get at these games, if people want to complain get your asses in the seats. If $$ is the problem ask for 2 tickets for every Christmas if your a die-hard.
Just over 10 years ago I spent a fortune coming over from the UK to see a Monday Night Game. It was against the Fish... Yeah, I stayed to the end after around 60,000 left by the middle of the 4th qtr. My reward - the greatest Jets comeback in history! We scored 30 points in the 4th and won it in OT. Perhaps the fact that I'd travelled so far was a factor in me staying to the end...but hey what's the rush to get home!?
Yeah there were a few noisy periods, but definatley not loud, like when the Pats were there. Not even close. Then it pretty much died. Yeah, I would feel the same way too. Make some noise at the next game, I'll be able to hear you.
Hey bro, I have never left a game early in my life. Of course that is mainly 100's of Hockey games I have been to. However, I have never left a Football game either.... but I don;t begrudge if you spend you hard earned loot. Now if you talking a corporate, time stealing weasel all bets are off....lmao
I'm going to be sitting in my couch, warm with a plate of hot food in front of me, and I better not see any of you motherfuckers leave early!
