Oh my god, you just sent a chill down my spine. I don't even want to think about that.

Your name defeniely suits you....but to your point, I was actually encouraged by the overthrows. I believe that there have been "experts" that have questioned Sanchez's arm strength, so to overthrow the deep ball like that at least for me resolved that issue. The kid can sling it.

Bingo... I'd much prefer to see him overthrow a guy and watch it fall to the ground then see him throw a duck 5 yards underthrown and watch somebody on the opposing team catch it. Arm strength is not a question with Sanchez. I think it was the Browns game when his arm was hit and what would have been an underthrown pass was still on the money.

I thought you had gone soft on us. Glad to see that isn't that case.

Those overthrows should have had the opposing defense saying "holy shit, we need to protect against that for when it does hit"... which in theory should help our running game. Fortunately the Texans defensive backs play like they have narcolepsy.

I wonder if the one "overthrow" was really just that, or if Santonio with just a little more effort could have reeled that one in, ala Jcotch...

I think Holmes didn't realize that Sanchez had put it up there until it was a little too late. It seemed like he turned on the afterburners once he realized it was heading to him but it was a little too late.

I seem to remember that most of Sanchez's best throws are to Sanchez's left. This was to his right. I wonder if that played a part in the secondary leaning that way.

The placement of the ball is what I think was the most impressive abbout the play. It was like the ball floated right into Braylon's hands.

I've been watching football for 45 years. Those were 2 of the best throws in a pressure situation I have ever seen.

Last season Sanchez really struggled throwing to the left side of the field and that's where most of his interceptions came from. He hasn't had any problems this year.

actually he was not down. no one contacted him until he hit the pylon, at which point the ball had crossed the plane ... that call still bothers me, took away a great td pass from those two

I said it when I saw the throw. But people will be talking about that throw for years in Jersey and new York. It was that damn good.

    That throw was perfection.

There was no room for error, and he hit him on the spot with a 42 yard bullet.

We've seen this before. Remember Mark's first pass as a Jet? Same freakin' pass. Could be his signature pass.

No need for attacks on me guys. It's clear Sanchez hasn't been the most accurate of quarterbacks... you can't overlook EVERYTHING just b/c we won the game. I am extremely pleased by his play but you guys need to take the semen stained sombrero's off.

This a thread that's topic is one his best throws and drives of his career. I can tell your too dunce for this to sink in but you could have chosen a better thread to bring up the two passes that you thought were important enough to start a conversation about. Seriously, what did you think was going to happen bringing that vibe into this thread?
