Richard Seymour punches Ben after the play is well over. $25,000 fine and no suspension.

    What a disgrace Goodell is.

Seymour said he couldn't remember what Ben said before it happened, which is really funny because that's what she said.

Need some help here because I am REALLY trying hard to remember the last time a Steeler punched an opposing QB in the face after the play was over.

Your gonna come here to tell us it's a disgrace that someone didn't get punished enough for punching your waste of life QB? He could have used a few more punches in the face before he had his body guards lock that girl in the bathroom with him.

Nah he probably meant forcing his schlong down some girls throat. Depending on size, it might be a punch in the face.

A quarterback is a quarterback, regardless of whatever gossip and crap you guys want to believe.

What if Seymour had done that to Sanchez?

    The standard is the standard.

So it was the gossip that got him suspended for four games, not the rape?

Sanchez would never be in that situation because he wouldn't be touching an opposing player after throwing a TD he would be doing the airplane all the way down the field.

Well, now that that part is fixed.
Then I'd probably have a problem with it.

Why isn't the NFL fining Ben for getting in Seymour's face and antagonizing him?

Seymour got the maximum penalty a player can get for fighting during a game when he is a second offender, so complaining about it is ridiculous. I find it more interesting that Roethlisberger, who is supposedly on a short leash, didn't even get a reprimand for clearly instigating it, but I guess there's no penalty for being an idiot.

Or the NFL is very concerned with rebuilding the "Big Ben" brand after his adventures in rape in GA and doesn't want to see one of its stars further tarnished.

See Brady, Spygate and the hard work the NFL did to totally ignore the shootout at Brady's wedding.

thats the reason why. And regardless of what Seymour claims to remember, he remembers what big ben said. Roethlisbergers "I just said we needed to get lined up for the XP" is also bullshit.

Seymour is hoping he gets another shot at ben down the line. Also I find it funny how this is the maximum penalty for "fighting in a game" but only a single punch was thrown. I would be curious to see what would have happened if Seymour had the chance to drop one of Ben's OL as well.... Thats still one instance of fighting in the same game, but because he slugged 2 guys, does that mean a suspension over just one guy?

Didn't Matt Light punch that Miami faggot Channing Crowder in the face a couple times without his helmet on and only get a fine? It would have been ridiculous if Seymour got suspended
