sure do...we've already proven we can beat Brady this season, we own Norval Turner, and Manning has lost most of his receivers/running backs to injury.

    Any other stupid questions?

You sound like an unsuccessful Mike Francessa with your big time D shit.

Of the 3 QB's you listed the Jets have already faced all of them with Rex and Pettine running things and have beaten Brady twice and Rivers the only time they played. The defense eventually broke down against Manning with far less talent in the secondary.

So yeah I am confident with this D going against QB in the league.

Its almost as if you don't remember the 1st half of the season.

The defense was closing out games. Now the offense is doing it. The defense is allowed to not be perfect, even if Rex says they aren't.

The safeties are a liability, but the minds on this defense have adjusted before. They'll do it again.

Manning is the only one that worries me. Every time he faces a Rex defense, he wins. Last year doesn't count considering he sat in the 2nd half.

Blair white and Jacob tame dude. Manning superpowers rubbing off can only take you so far. He can beat 90% of the league with those scrubs but that entire tram
    Is decimated

    That foot is bothering him.

    It'll bother him all season.

It is going to get worse in the cold.....

Foot injuries are the worst.....I hope they didn't rush him back.

Supposedly, they did some new procedure on him, it wasn't a typical screw into the bone. Anyhow, if the Jets can somehow get past this Thursday game without any injuries the 11 days is going to be most welcome.

4th Quarter on the line is a different scenario.

You analogy is like saying the Jets are 30 points better than the Pats since the Browns beat them by 20 and we beat the Browns.

I'm not saying he stinks or that we should can him....I'm not into emotional decisions.

    I'm simply saying:

    (1) The defense is getting killed in the 4th quarter.

    (2) There are huge breakdowns in the secondary, made all the more glaring because Revis and Cro do not require backup.

    (3) The D-Line is doing nothing pressure-wise (Pace ? Taylor?).

    (4) No adjustment after the Vikings Game....no adjustment after the Detroit game....no adjustment after the Cleveland game....and now this game.

Peyton Hillis was immobilized in the 2nd half.......i would consider that a significant adjustment.

uhhh...that's not what i was saying at all......keep reaching though.

Those were valid reasons why the Jets have a good chance at beating those teams...

Oh, I wasn't aware we hadn't beat Tom Brady this year already.

The Jets have the 5th best defense in terms of points allowed. He's doing OK. The D was put in a really bad spot twice in the 4th quarter yesterday because the offense turned it over in there own territory.

Fine.....but our Run D has never been an issue.....Colt McCoy went off on us on that last drive. No stops at all.

I wasn't aware we had stopped him or a quality QB in the 4th quarter with the game on the line.

But then again, we did so well in that regard last year: Atlanta, Jacksonville, etc.

If they hold them to a FG -- or even take time off the clock -- I have no problem.

Green fumbled and they scored on the very next play to the TE.

He did go off on us... literally. He made two amazing throws on that drive that even perfect defense wouldn't have stopped, as evidenced by Revis being in perfect coverage and still allowing that completion to their big TE.

We have seen the defense come up big to close out games already this year so your gonna have a tough time finding anyone to throw the defensive staff under the bus. We have plenty of evidence that the defense isn't going to lose us many games. Yesterday should have been one but the offense picked them up. There will come a game this year where the defense picks the offense up. That's why this is the ultimate team sport.

They're having a lot of problems on D that aren't easy to fix as far as I see. Limited pass rush, leads to TE's or Running backs beating linebackers and safeties man on man....and when they switch to zone, they are having all sorts of coverrage problems....goes back to the pass rush at the end of the day I guess. Leonard seemed kinds of pissed in his quotes this morning in the paper, seems like he's not a big fan of the play calling on D
